We stayed one night at the Alt-an and we appreciated the great hospitality of Mrs. Margaret who really made us feel at home at our arrival.

(For future guests we are located exactly 1 mile (1.6 kilometres) a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the shops bars and restaurants, by car 2minutes.).
Welcomed by the door by our very kind host who showed us to our room and private bathroom beside our room. Amazing view from the room over the lake and the mountains. Water boiler and tea pot in room.

That was a last moment booking via http://www.visitscotland.com/accommodation/ but we couldn't have booked a better place to spend our night in Fort William.
Margaret welcomed us very warmly and showed us a nice twin room and a large bathroom at the next door.
