The place is warm extremely friendly and most helpful. We were there under sad circumstances but they helped us with all aspects. Great food in the bar. Good beer and friendly staff. We were so impressed we went back after initial visit two weeks later Us and other guest attending the funeral were made very welcome and nothing was any...

Room ok and warm enough...rest of place cold, tired and characterless. Met a pleasant local and had a good craic with him. Food ordinary. Request for a basic cereal & milk breakfast to be left, to allow me to leave for work before scheduled breakfast time, was greeted with a flat 'No' and some nonsense about not 'being allowed to...

Started visiting here 5 years ago with friends and like to short break at the Covenanters every so often. Superb stays, the inn is full of character, great staff that always make us so welcome. Very good pub food, freshly made to order. Yes there are alot of work people that stay here but that is because they are so...

Awful hotel in very poor location, no working wifi or phone signal. Pillows were all hairy as if a dog had been sleeping in my bed. Stunk of wet dog and food was highly priced and frozen. Stay clear at all costs

I booked to stay 4 night's 27th - 30th Aug. I had requested the accessible shower prior to arrival. I was disappointed with the room which was very basic and needed refurbishing with at least a new carpet. There were only 3 hangers in the wardrobe to serve 2 people who were staying 4 nights but when requested others were...

The room was small, but clean and ok. They have a lovely pub inside and the crowd there was alright. But breakfast really sucked. Almost nothing was there and refilling was almost non existent. For that service it was too pricey.

Stayed in a double room for 2 nights with our dogs. Chose this place because we were taking dogs who were allowed in the room and conservatory which was nice. The bed and room was extremely basic. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was comfortable but we were staying in a campervan for 2 weeks so it...

The room was clean and comfortable if a little cramped. The food was classic pub grub with a good choice of dishes, portions a little large for my taste, breakfast was excellent and the soups are highly recommended. The staff were welcoming and friendly. A good base for touring the area and away from the main road.
