We booked a 2 night stay at the Newton Hotel, what an excellent choice, Check-in was attentive, friendly and welcoming. We were given a free upgrade to the Chaplin Suite, which had lovely views over the gardens, I was extremely pleased with the room. It was lovely. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. Facilities included a nice selection of...

We got in rather late as we wanted to stop at Culloden and the Clavin Cairns first. So we ended up eating at the golf club house. They even had some of those highlander cattle on the property. I am planning a return trip in April and want to stay here again

The room was lovely, the bed was huge and so comfortable with free bottle of wine awaiting us, bath and shower in gorgeous bathroom. The staff were so friendly we felt right at home and the food was amazing, we can't wait to go back.

My husband had previously stayed here for work, but this was my first time at the hotel. I certainly wasn't disappointed. Beautiful location, stunning building. I loved the old period features both inside and out. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. Would definitely visit again. My only disappointment was the choice of food on the menu for the...

My wife and I have now been to the Newton several times and we love coming here. The rooms are large, the food and service are first class and the peaceful location is great. The impressive hotel has Highland cattle grazing out front and the property is only a stone's throw from the beach. And it is not expensive either....

I really enjoyed staying in the Newton Hotel. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous on the outside, but it has great character on the inside. The Staff were very attentive and courteous and the food was delicious! The Hotel's pets, Highland/Hairy Cows, are adorable and are even friendly enough to let you pet them. I will say.. the mattresses were...
