Stayed in Nairn for a few days recently quite near this lovely pub!cosy bar area with gorgeous woodburner, great real ales and an outstanding selection of whiskies.I would imagine it's even nicer in the summer! A great find.

Great views from my bedroom overlooking bandstand and beach. Breakfast was excellent. Chose to indulge and enjoy full cooked Scottish. What a treat! Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly return. Great value for money.

The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. Very good value for money. We would return to this hotel for another break. We had a sea view room which was very comfortable and kept clean at all times.

Couldn't wish for a better place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great, right on the seafront. Rooms are clean and fresh. Bar and restaurant serve great food. I slept brilliant even missed breakfast a few times due to sleeping in, I mention this as I'm an insomniac.

The prices in this area can vary a lot the Braeval keeps a consistent pricing and a very high standard in food quality and comfort in the bedrooms. The surrounding area has great sea views and walks with plenty to do. This is a great base.

Stayed here for one night while working in the area, all the hotel staff were helpful and polite, room 3 was adequate in size and the bed very comfortable, shame about the bathroom though, was on the very small side, took ages to get hot water coming through the tap and the shower was dreadful, no pressure whatsoever, never ate...

Nice traditional hotel near beach. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Bar is well stocked with malt whiskers. Food in the bar was good. Found Nairn itself very boring but great place for dog walkers. Beach not as good as expected. Inverness is a lovely city and well worth visiting

Nice place; nice atmosphere; great staff but the quality and presentation of the food itself was very average. I have eaten here before off the normal menu and have always had a good experience. It was a shame, because I'd bigged it up beforehand and felt a little let-down. Staff were great though and very friendly.

Our first experience of dining out on Xmas Day and, boy, what a way to start. Although the restaurant was full we sat down (second sitting) on time, ordered wine, and our meal started shortly afterwards. All 5 courses were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. We had the venison for our main course for a change from turkey and we were...

Our party of six family and friends enjoyed a wonderful meal on Christmas Day (second sitting). Within 10 minutes of sitting down at the table, our starters were on the table in front of us. The 5 courses were of a very high standard and the staff very efficient and attentive despite the restaurant being completely full. We would certainly...
