Not actually on a working farm as such (no smells for people who worry about that) and literally just beyond the end of the A73 dual carriageway, this is a very handy location.

The rooms are actually in their own wee building and have en-suits and a small breakfast room. There's a microwave and fridge that guests are welcome to use if needed, plus tea and coffee in the room. There was a desk too so I was able to work

The family who runs it are very friendly and nice to have a blether with. Breakfast is made to order.

This is a must of a stay, nice greeting from Nat the host who explained everything concerning the help yourself breakfast room and informed me of the Wi-Fi passcode and her mobile number if I required anything.
The room well, wow is all I can say, mine looked like a converted barn with one wall all the big old sand stone.
Well furnished with a table I could use for a work station. Kettle and modern tv on the wall.
Nice comfy bed and great en-suite.
Honestly 10/10 specially with the price also.

This was a last minute booking for a business conference in Castlecary. The host was very kind and agreed a fair price . Charming little room with own toilet/shower and nice decoractive touches. Appreciated being able to use the kitchen area with microwave and free breakfast items (porridge pots, croissants).

The accommodation is very basic but clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is continental, help yourself. White bread which could be toasted, jam or marmalade was available plus a selection of cereals. . The kettle was filled from a plastic bottle The breakfast room was very small, and is not comfortable for more than two people.
It would have been nice to have more than one very small towel per person for a 3 night stay!!

I booked accomodation for one night for my husband who was working in the area. First of all making a booking was brilliant as it was done through Bookings.com However he had a late arrival time so I called a few times to inform them of this. I had to call so many times and leave messages I nearly cancelled the booking but this meant I would not get a refund.

My husband had a good stay. The place and area was clean and comfortable the breakfast was basic. The lady who welcomed him was lovely.

He forgot to get an invoice so we have both been chasing invoices for a week now. We have called the landline and mobile SEVERAL times and left messages I have sent a message through bookings.com. On bookings.com it is clearly stated that this was a business trip. So really they should be offering us invoices even if he forgot to ask for one. No one has returned our calls and messages. If we don't get an invoice we cant claim it back from his employer. If I do not hear from them soon I will report this to HMRC and get advice from them and Bookings.com. I really don't want to do it but they will leave me no choice.

What a lovely stay we had. We were welcomed by the family and they were lovely. The rooms were clean and warm with ensuite bathrooms, a TV and tea / coffee making facilities. The lamp shade was very unusual, as it was made of antlers! The breakfast was nice, with plenty of cereal, toast, croissants and fresh milk. It looks like an old farm, and there were lots of friendly Shetland ponies, rabbits and wildlife in the surrounding fields which made our experience even better.

I stayed here for 5 nights whilst I visited family in the local area.
Everything was great, the beds were comfy, the bedroom was spotlessly clean, & welcoming.
Amazing place to stay, I will definitely be staying here again!!!

We arrived early but as you can't check in until 4 o'clock we had to kill a bit of time. The rooms are very good, clean tidy and well decorated. We were in the area for a family celebration and required a taxi. The taxi couldn't find the B&B initially but after a couple of calls it arrived, so make sure you have the post code etc handy if requiring a taxi. Although the rooms are very well presented, the walls are only thin. Consequently when we arrived we could hear our neighbours talking and their rave music. It was not too late 12.30 am so not much cause for concern in the beginning. However this continued into the night. The music was then accompanied by screaming, shouting, groaning and the sound of moving furniture. The noise continued and was at such a level it was if some kind of team activity was taking place. To give them their due, stamina appeared to be of no concern. Although it may be doubtful that all participants would be able to walk unaided to breakfast in the morning.

We had a warm welcome from Nathalie.
We stayed here because it is about 30 min drive from Glasgow airport.
It's a very isolated B&B. You need a car to get to the closest restaurant (for which you need a reservation).
Rooms are decent with bathrooms. The only complaint is that there is no isolation to speak of between the rooms. You could practically take part of a conversation with your neighbors. Apart from the eggs and bacon, the rest of breakfast was of industrial Tesco quality.
