This was my second stay here in 6 months. The first time the bath had not been cleaned and there were items under the bed from the previous occupant. This time, the room was clean. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient and the food was also good. There is free WIFI and irons can be borrowed. There is free soap...

Went as a last resort after a family day out for a quick dinner. I had the roast dinner which was very disappointing and was reminiscent of a Birdseye ready meal. The chicken goujons were also very poor dry and stiff. It was a shame given the reputation of the food but as my last visit was similar I wasn't...

We checked in to a family room over the festive period to be close to family. The welcome, if you can call it that, was probably the poorest I have received in any hotel and we travel a lot! There was no information provided on check-in - literally nothing. The lady at check-in I don't believe even greeted us when...

Went to Tudor for a meal with friend. On arriving the girl who was showing people to seats was very rude and we were asked to wait on another area for a seat to become vacant. After 20 mins we were ushered to a seat that was set for 6 people - waited for another 20 minutes for someone to...

Had to remove a lump of plastic from mouth during desert. When pointed out to staff was told it must have been packaging. That's all well and good if it is only on plate or spoon, but not as you are about to swallow it. Wouldn't recommend for fine dining.

18 of us had a fantastic time on Saturday 5th at the Tudor Hotel Xmas Party Night. The management, Geraldine and Arthur were really professional with our seating/ table requests, the waiting staff were ever so polite and chatty when serving drinks and a lovely meal, the bar staff were extremely attentitive to all our needs, Derek and Daniel were...

They were kind enough to fit a table if 7 in at short notice in the newly refurbished dining room. The menu is extensive and we had notriuble choosing our meals. I'd recommend the Stroganoff. I'll definitely be back for a meal

My husband and I visited the Tudor again tonight for a meal. Once again excellent food and the staff are great. So helpful. We probably visit twice a month and we've never been disappointed. Great food, excellent service, spotlessly clean and value for money. What more could you ask for! I would recommend to anyone.
