Just returned from an overnight stay here. First impressions were good, clean room, lovely white towels and nice gesture with chocolate. However on coming down to the bar area we felt quite intimidated with large number of foreign gentlemen in the reception area, none of whom were English speakers. Having read other recent reviews since returning home this appears to...

Me and my partner went to the Station Hotel in Perth for a weekend away! When we arrived the beauty of the building was massively over shadowed by the mass of men hanging around outside the hotel. That got worse when we went in a found yet more men covering every seating area within the hotel lobby talking loudly and...

We stayed here for one night in February as a group of 6 ladies. I was very hesitant after reading recent reviews but our stay was perfectly fine. The staff were very pleasant and helpful; booking taxis, giving us maps and directions. My room was a double and was clean and comfortable. The bed was slightly harder than I'm used...

Start was fine, get what you pay for. Service was very good, décor and mattresses where rather dated, but slept well. However, on our last day, their was a large group (20+) Middle aged Arabic speaking men loitering in the lobby, stairwell and restaurant, it was when one took a very keen interest in my wife and couldn't stop staring...

What can I say!!!... I would of giving this place a 1, but the 2 goes for the lovely lady on the desk and the cute chocolate on the bed. Other than that I will never be staying here anymore, I know it's cheap and you get what you pay for but I would pay extra for somewhere else... For...

We booked online through Booking.com a Twin room for the 25/01/2016 because we were flying from Belfast to attend a funeral. We received an email confirmation for the room with 2 breakfasts on 13/01/2016. Three days before we arrived I received a phone call to clarify our details, as I couldn't talk at the time they promised to call me...

Unfortunately I cannot make any comment on staying in this hotel as I called 4 times on 21 January to make a booking and was promised a call back on each occasion. The call back never materialised. If the quality of the hotel is of a similar standard to their customer service then maybe I was lucky not to stay....

Stayed here for a single night after getting train back to Perth from Edinburgh, on a room only basis. Hotel perfectly located for station, being directly opposite exit. The hotel still shows its faded past glory, but is now a bit 'tired'. Having said that, my room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. On periphery of city centre, it's...

Stayed in room 56 on 16th December 2015 and was clean, warm and comfortable. I worked here 30 years ago in the mid eighties and being honest the hotel does need some TLC but the staff are friendly and for £35 for a double room was excellent value for money and would definitely stay again. If the owners were to...

We cannot fault the rooms, lovely boutique feel. Food was amazing! The hotel had an old feel but was nice and cosy. Could maybe do with some updating in the corridors though. Although the staff were friendly they could be a bit more attentive. In the bar there were only 2 other customers and still took ages to get served....
