Stayed here for one night with friends and was highly delighted with our rooms. They were beautifully decorated, the double room having an ensuite shower room and the twin room had a shower room just outside their door. Yes and coffee facilities provided in the room. Breakfast was served through in the conservatory was a lovely cooked breakfast with plenty... More

We stayed here in July for one night and couldn't have chosen a better place. The room was clean and bright and the beds very comfortable. We both enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast which was nicely cooked and plentiful. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of advice about where to eat in town. We would definitely stay... Excellent experience for my first trip to Scotland. Morag Cottage was perfectly located in Pitlochry. Maureen and Jimmy were beyond welcoming to me and my family. The room was beautiful. The bed very comfortable. Lots to do within a very short distance. Highly recommend making some time in your trip to see Pitlochry and staying at Morag Cottage!!!

Excellent location for hiking trails including the path to Ben Vrackie. Room was extremely clean and cosy and we were made to feel very welcome. Easy walking distance to Pitlochry shops and cafes/restaurants. Recommended.

We felt very lucky to have found this B&B. It is so convenient to downtown Pitlochry, and was very comfortable. Maureen was very accommodating when we needed to leave early, and it was most enjoyable chatting with her.

I was only here for one night, but it was a great hostel near Loch Ness. We were welcomed with shots of whiskey. The common area has some comfy couches, lots of paper resources for travelers, and toys! Wifi is only available downstairs. The dining area has several tables and a kitchen area if you fancy preparing your own meals.... More

An excellent welcome from Maureen and Jim. Lovely quiet room and bathroom both immaculate. Breakfast treats whatever you choose, expertly served, prepared and cooked. Both poached and scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Loved the smoked salmon!! Have the creamy porridge to start your busy day healthily. We made a last minute booking at Morag Cottage, after a change of plan. The proprietors, James and Maureen, were really helpful and friendly both during booking and our stay. They made us feel welcome and were flexible with our arrival and breakfast times in order to suit our needs. The room was impeccably clean and well decorated, with a... More

Lovely, affordable B&B, in a pretty, quiet row, but conveniently located near railway station and town. Lots of options for breakfast (the full Scottish is the business!), with yogurt and fresh fruit featuring cherries and berries a particular standout. Coffee was good, too! Our hosts were friendly and helpful and really pleasant. Recommended!

“Our room was opposite the main road and therefor was a little noisy at times with traffic and train going past occasionally. I'm sure rooms at the back would be quieter.”
