Stayed 26th November.2016. Check in was great...very friendly Lady. Room was nice with some lovely fresh fruit and bottled water. This however is were we stopped enjoying our stay. Went for dinner at 6:30, we were seated right away, and given some iced water and bread. Had to ask for a menu, and within minutes of ordering we were served... More

Really disappointed with this place. We booked for bed and breakfast, yet never got breakfast any of the 3 mornings, because they didn't start serving at the time we needed to leave (I may add, HUGE event on close by, with a massive amount of people in the same position). The breakfast staff who informed us of this were most... More

At first glance you see an older property which is a bit tired and needing some upgrading, however, the smooth running of the place and pleasant nature of all staff, who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable, was a delight. All staff operated with a smile on their face and certainly appeared to enjoy their work. Nothing... More

Was a bit worried about reviews saying run down. The common areas lile corridors are in need of decoration but our room was very nice and spacious. Staff were very helpful and looked like they were working very hard. Only let down was the breakfast. It was so busy the staff simply couldn't cope and there was no organisation apparent.... More

We stayed here with family recently to enjoy the Michael Buble tribute night and were not disappointed. Obviously the hotel is quite tired now but the rooms were adequate. We enjoyed a swim, sauna and steam in the afternoon, luckily beating a crowd which arrived just after us. The meal on Saturday night was excellent and the restaurant manager was... More

My husband and I arrived around 12.30 and the room wasn't ready yet and it would 3.00 before we could get in. Asked about getting something to eat or drink and we were told the bar did not open til 3.00....couldn't even get a cup of coffee..not very welcoming. We did go into Pitlochry for lunch and got into our... More

Scotlands Hotel is one of the few remaining old fashioned hotels in Scotland. It has a faded charm that I hope it will strive to maintain. Glossy, sterile hotels are fine but you can't beat character. From the minute we stepped through the door we felt a genuine warmth. The receptionist could not have been more helpful. O.K. you had... Just spent a fantastic weekend here with my mum. Room may be in need of updating but spotlessly clean. The staff were great towards us and could not do enough to help. Food was lovely and the unexpected entertainment on Saturday (Jason Porters tribute act to Michael Buble) was a great end to the weekend. Will definitely be back. 4.5... More

Very good value - tribute weekend - breakfast and evening meal great choice and very tasty - rooms and beds comfy, pool and sauna etc very nice with great view. Very convenient for town - no taxi required - staff were all very friendly and efficient - and up for a bit fun and banter, we had so much fun... More

Booked this hotel with my two girls 9 and 13 so we could visit enchanted forest in October. Main reason was for the book and spa facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast and dinner option which we would highly recommend. The food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. In fact the kids portion was sometimes bigger... More
