My partner booked this as a surprise for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Lovely views, comfy bed, the interior of the hotel is just as grand as the outside, dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all very friendly and accommodating and the spa area is lovely and relaxing too. Couldn't find a single fault in our stay...

My husband and I have just returned from a two night break at the Atholl Palce Hotel. We often do this in March and yet again it did not disappoint us.The hotel was very busy due to a voucher offer, but this was not a problem,as the staff worked hard to provide their usual excellent service. A special mention here for the...

What a wonderful weekend we spent at the Athol Palace. I went with my daughter and my friend who went with her daughter. The rooms were bright and spotlessly clean. The main areas were spacious and very comfortable. We ate in the dining room for breakfast both morning and dinner on the first night. The food and service was excellent...

Great overnight stay in March 2017. Beautiful location at top of hill surrounded by lovely countryside. Lovely old hotel with very spacious public areas - leather chairs and sofas, flower displays, log fires, beautiful polished wood and attentive staff. Had a lovely room on the second floor that looked as if it had been fairly recently decorated. Staff were helpful...

They don't do children's rates you have to pay the full price £17.50 even for small kids. For that you get a meagre couple of small fingers of sandwiches, some of ours had no filling, ham, farmed salmon, cheese and tomato and egg fillings scant where present. You also get a scone, some cream and a spoonful of jam. There...

Came here on a two night ITISON deal, DBB. After some initial confusion finding the room( we are both partially disabled) We settled in. Bed was small & rather worn out, but the room was clean & well equipped. However all was forgiven as the food was excellent, home cooked, no poncey chef stuff, just good well cooked fare &...

The reason for the title is that I believe they have a long way to go to earn 4 stars Let me say that on arrival at reception to check in for our 3 night stay both staff members gent and Lady were very welcoming, sincere and happy faces which is great to see as some other 4 star resorts we...

Our second visit here the last time was ten years ago on our first Anniversary... ten years later it has not lost any of its charm. Beautiful building, beautiful setting, beautiful service and the relaxed atmosphere is simply wondrous... instantly relaxed... afternoon tea in any of the vast seating areas is fabulous... a shame no availability for treatments in the...

We went to Atholl Palace for a romantic trip away to celebrate our anniversary. From the outside the building and its surroundings have all the grandeur that you would expect from a 4 star establishment but once inside the hotel is very outdated. When we arrived in our room it was very run down and outdated. The only thing spectacular...
