What a charming hotel. It is very old, small and quaint but with modern comforts. Each room is different. Our son had a great room up in the attic. The bathroom was modern and very functional. Staff were lovely and made you feel welcome at all times. The full Scottish breakfast is a must. Will return when visiting family in...

The food was very good although the soft drinks range a little limited. Would definitely return for food but not for the rooms as there was more than a little unfinished work to be done in the two rooms I saw.... and a lingering smell of smoke in the stairs area near the missing concrete window seat. At first the...

Had to find accommodation in paisley due to family emergency and found this lovely hotel. A lot of work has been done and they are still working on it so you do notice little bits and pieces of unfinished work but it doesn't interfere with your stay. The staff are wonderful and attentive and the rooms are clean and tidy....

From the reviews I thought this was a hotel which required a little modern updating not one that I would choose not to stay in. However, the food was very good. Holes in ceiling badly flaking paint and/or ceiling in more than 6 places.... and this was the first room I saw ....colleagues also has similar rooms but chose not...

Good find...I requested a lower floor room and got one. Steps up to the outside door not mentioned to us but manageable for me, but wouldn't be if wheelchair bound. Slope street up to property would also prove difficult. Very friendly greeting and lovely breakfast.

I stayed at Ashtree House my last night in Scotland as it is less than 10 minutes from the Glasgow airport. The hotel, a Regency Georgian Town House with a courtyard and a walled garden offers large, comfortable rooms with en-suite. My room was clean and tastefully decorated with a large, comfortable bed. The room had everything you needed –...

Such a friendly, personal and lovely character hotel in the centre of Paisley. Great to relax in a family run hotel prior to our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and the taxi to the airport very reasonable. On site parking saved us almost £80 for 8 days holiday. We also enjoyed walking through Paisley to a great Thai restaurant...

I found this little gem on booking.com It's a 10 minute drive from the airport and for £70 b&b you will struggle to find better! Granted there are there is odd unfinished corner but it's an old house and the people who run it are great. The breakfast is very good and served from 07:30. If you are flying early...

My colleague and I were late arriving but were met with wonderful hospitality. My room was a large double at the front of the Hotel and it was grand and comfortable . We enjoyed at good meal with an excellent wine. Breakfast was included in the reasonable night rate which was also delicious. Although we didn't stay long enough to...

Despite a very positive initial impression we were left feeling disappointed for following reasons: Firstly, contrary to the initial attraction of a wood burning fire on a cold October night there was no fire lit in the drawing room , merely candles within a wood burner, which created no atmosphere at all. Secondly, after ordering our drinks we were handed...
