Having never booked nor stayed in a B&B before (always stayed at 4 star or above hotels), I was a little apprehensive about staying at BytheSea. I need not have concerned myself.......it was excellent in every way!!!!

Cannot give this place a high enough recommendation, from the moment we arrived it was obvious that every thought has been put into the comfort of the guests. Our room, although small, had everything we needed, tv with DVD player, small fridge, corkscrew, lovely plush...More

Stayed here while looking for a new home. Location was great, very central. Bedroom was large with a large comfy bed. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, even gluten free. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast .

Hi, planning to book for my 25th wedding anniversary next year, so it needs to be a special one! Looking for a sea view with as little noise as possible, so am I better off going for a higher floor, any block in particular? Also, if we go for the Breakfast option only, are there plenty of nice restaurants around locally for dinner?

Hi there. By the Sea is a fantastic guest house. The sea views are only partial though to the side but it's seconds from the lovely sea front.
It's only munutes from the Town with lots of eating places.
