Stayed here for just the one night as we where at a wedding just along the road at the Brig o Doon, it's very homely and the lady who runs it is extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms are spotless and a good size with ensuite also with lovely comfy beds (had a fab sleep). This BnB is about 6 minutes walk from Ayr high street in a quiet area with lots of parking. A permit is provided by Helen at Richmond free too. Our room was enormous with lots of space and no twee touches - a bonus! A great breakfast too.

Friendly hostess. Guesthouse is located on a quite street with plenty of on street parking. Good location, few minutes walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Room was very spacious, ensuite slightly small. Very clean overall, room/ensuite could do with some redecorating, bit old fashioned. Would stay here again.

My father and I stayed at the Richmond recently and I quite simply could not recommend it highly enough. The entire place was spotlessly clean and well decorated & furnished. The rooms were bright, clean and airy with crisp, fresh linen on the extremely comfortable beds. There was a warm and friendly welcome from the proprietor Helen and she ensured...

We stayed here overnight while visiting the Robbie Burns sites in Alloway, and it proved to be an excellent choice. We had a lovely large, spacious room with a big bay window, and comfortable arm chairs. Helen provided us with a parking permit to park on the quiet street outside, and we were then able to walk into the town...

We stayed here for two nights in June. We were welcomed by Helen and made to feel at home straight away. Our room was on the top floor, number 4 but this did not put us off. The room was large and clean with lovely bedding and every thing was to a high standard. Breakfast was perfectly cooked by Muir...

Situated in a lovely tree lined avenue in the quiet part of Ayr, the B & B is just a treasure. Helen is a polite, humorous, endearing host who, I think, finds nothing too much trouble. Our room was spacious, warm, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom more than adequate, and scrupulously clean. The free toiletries were a nice touch, as...

“the room advertised as the en suite double was our upgraded room and it was lovely. there is also another double room with a separate bathroom for the sole use of that room. it is worth the extra for the room we got but in our case as we were the only ones staying we got it for no extra charge!”
