Hotel rooms are nothing special and the walls are really thin coupled with creaky floorboards. Good location close to the water but not all rooms look out over the water. The restaurant food however is excellent although the dining area is nothing special. Staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful.

Large rooms, clean & quiet. We were on DB&B deal and the food was fine, especially the breakfast kippers. Hotel has probably seen better days and some things could be upgraded but overall our stay was fine. Only 10 minute walk from central Ayr. Free parking.

reception smelled of fish. Hall carpet to Turnberry Suite very dirty. Headboard broken. Worse aspect was lack of security, nobody on desk at 10pm Fri. night. Any key could have been taken. Both back doors unlocked all night.

Due to workload at short notice, I needed to travel to Ayr. As I've never stayed here and our company have corporate rates, 3 of us booked. Nice location, great bar area, and nice surroundings. One downfall, rooms a bit old fashion, especially as the bar / restaurant is very modern and contemporary.

We recently stayed at this hotel, it was close to the sea front the staff were very friendly, but although the room was a good size the roof was right outside our bedroom window, so the vents coming out of the roof made quite a steady noise all night when everywhere else had gone quiet. Positive was the swimming area...

We stayed here for a wedding in august. Had a lovely time, food was lovely and staff polite and friendly. Our room was huge as was the bathroom. Breakfast before we left was also a great choice to start the day. Enjoyed out stay.
