A very warm welcome after some difficulty in finding Prestwick Road. Tip - approach Ayr from the north and there should be no problem. Stayed for two nights in a twin room which was very comfortable and clean. Off street parking in front garden. Free internet access through in - house PC meant we could catch up on our e-mails....

Having booked an economy room we were very surprised when we went inside and saw we had a large beautifully decorated room with a double and single bed. The guest house was immaculate and the owners were a lovely couple. The breakfast was second to none! Would i go back? YES, definately!

We stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting family and were very warmly welcomed. The room was not huge but was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Either Dave or Shona always seemed to be available if required and gave good advice on the local area. We would stay at the Beechwood again.

A warm and friendly welcome! Booked a 3 night stay as a base to see the area - excellant choice. It was perfect for our needs, including bus and train services which were on the doorstep. Our room was tastefully furnished, comfortable and clean. A good breakfast menu was provided giving a variety of choices to suit all. The food...

Booked last minute for a one night stay and so wasn't expecting too much, but what a great place we walked into. Dave and Shona met us at the door with a warm smile and greeting. Showed us round and then to our room. We were looking for a nice place to eat out and Shona went through all the...

We spent one night at the beechwood traveling through Scotland. The house was easy to find, the check in process easy, and we were able to get some rest right away in rooms I would consider luxurious. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast was great. There was a common room we could hang out in until bed time...

Nice friendly welcome on our arrival and this friendless was to be maintained throught our stay. The guest house was spotless and maintained to a very high standard. Service from hosts Dave and Shona was top class,...

I have stayed at the Beechwood on three occasions and wouldn't consider going anywhere else now. The location is perfectly positioned between Ayr and Prestwick giving access to some great golf courses, not to mention some good bars and resturants. The hosts David and Shona are very friendly and helpful which promotes a relaxed atmosphere, they have a good knowledge...

Stayed here for one night on an offer through a newspaper. Thought it would be nice to get away for the night. We had a great stay and thought the room was excellent. Through our offer, we had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast so we decided on the continental. It was delicious. Variery of cereal, fruit, juice, toast...
