Dirty, rundown, badly organised, insecure, inconsiderate and unprofessional owner. I've had rooms mixed up, bookings forgotten, keys taken from room, belongings randomly moved from one room to another. Seriously, its a complete joke of a place. I'd rather sleep in my car!

I was looking for dog-friendly accommodation, and this fitted the bill. My room was a good sized twin, clean and comfortable. Although there was a wash basin in the room, the bathroom (lovely and modern as it was) was shared. I received a nice welcome, had good breakfasts, staff were friendly and I would have no hesitation about staying here...

Had knowone to greet us when we first arrived and had to ring a small bell on the wall and waited for a response. Rang again and then a lady arrived. Wasn't really greeted with a smile but asked what name it was booked under and then she walked off again to get the keys. It'd been raining that evening...

The hotel is on the left and yes you need to get a good swing into the entrance but its not horrendous. Great welcome from Margaret and we had room 6 on the ground floor which was nice and quiet . There is a very nice lounge for guests with a good sized tv and books. Our room only had...

I travelled for work and booked a room with the Kilkerran Guest house for 5 days and I left after 1 night's stay. Being woken up by loud music at 07:30am on a bed that was so uncomfortable that I didn't sleep well anyway wasn't an ideal start to the day. I was at the back of the building and...

Myself, my wife and my mother-in-law with her partner stayed here when attending the Ayr racing. The hotel was easy to find and accessible to the town centre. The owner and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean and perfect for our needs. I'd absolutely 100% recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying here. Ignore...

I haven't received any bad service or any bad experience. Feel that staff are very friendly and always make sure customers are happy and feel welcomed! The breakfast is very well presented and i have NEVER waited long for my breakfast even if the breakfast room is full with other customers. Me and my boyfriend have been there two years...
