Most enjoyable stop for a lunch and drink on our way back from Ness. Reasonable priced and tasty pub food served by friendly staff. Only criticism is that it didn't look open from the road. I'm glad I pulled off the road and looked round the back.

Last stop before we arrived at the Butt of Lewis after cycling from Barra. great stop to have a pint of Guinness. in easy striking distance to the Butt and a swim in Europie Beach. Very friendly hotel, wonderful room ( room 5) and excellent evening meal and breakfast. A pity the back bar was closed as it was the... More

We stayed here for one night on a short trip to the island after reading about it on TripAdvisor (ignoring the terrible review as it seemed very harsh for having to wait a few minutes for food). Well, I would recommend this inn to anybody without hesitation, it is superb. The whole place looks like it has recently been refurbished... More

This is a great place that I would imagine gets very busy in the summer. I stayed in the winter when it was cold and wet but my welcome was warm and friendly. My room was an adequate size double room with en suite shower. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and you can... More

Arrived and was greeted by name - a good sign. Room was clean, well appointed and had everything I needed. Good, well presented shower room with plenty new white fluffy towels. Went to small 'bare bone' hauf (bar) at back of the inn. Even although it was after 930pm I could choose anything from the menu. Had huge portion of... More

Ate here on a Saturday night as a couple with a small child. The service could not have been more friendly and the black pudding starter as enough to be shared by 3. For main course the blue steak was cooked to perfection and my partners fish and chips was the best she has had all year. Could not manage... More

The inn has recently been refurbished and the room I stayed in was modern, well decorated, comfortably furnished and clean. The public areas including the resturant have been refurbished and are very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the resturant served good quality pub food, a bit pricey but well prepared. The Bar at the rear of the Inn is very... More

We ate tasty and filling food with a friendly welcome sitting next to a peat fire with a pint. We enjoyed our visit and would go again next time we're in the area.

Taking care about the guest in this restaurant isn't importand as surfing as in Facebook. All tables were set up but it took 15 minutes to cover the tables with napkin, knive and fork meanwhile we were asked to wait at the bar even after mentioning twice that we would like to be seated on the table. Food and service... More
