Visited Champany Inn for my girlfriends birthday after searching for hours to find somewhere a little bit special without completely breaking my bank balance. Champany is that place, it ticks every box. Very warm welcome on arrival and a VERY comfortable room with a nice big bed and a huge bathroom. BEWARE the bed is SO comfortable and the black...

I stay at hotels a lot mainly in Nordic region but quite rarely in Scotland where I'm from. My wife arranged this trip for us with our teenage kids after research. Hotel has nice location convenient for local historic attractions with above average room for what I'm used to on average. That said the but bathroom could have done with...

A half hour north of the Edinburgh airport in the sleepy town of Linlithgow is a nice country style inn run by a couple from South Africa. The rooms are nice sized, the linens are high quality, and it is quiet. A good alternative to staying in Edinburgh city. The special attraction is the fantastic steak house-best steak in UK....

Fantastic Hotel, wonderful food great choice of wine and good sized bedrooms, breakfast was outstanding all food cooked fresh, will definitely go back the sooner the better. The hotel as a bistro and a Al a carte restaurant and the food in both is of the highest quality a family run business with an eye on quality all round.

Very pleasant stay for three nights. Spacious twin room with good size bathroom. Quality drinks included in the room and TV had all major channels. Ate in the restaurant which, whilst expensive, is an absolute must if you like steaks and a stunning environment to eat in. also are in chop and ale house on site which was also very...

We had wanted to try for a while but to be honest the prices had been a little off putting as they are a tad expensive. However for my birthday on monday past, my fiance took me and my parents for lunch. Due to the prices I think I had been expecting something truly amazing but I was, to be...

Campany Inn is more than an B&B. Although it's just have 16 rooms, it makes you feel like home. The Red, Blue & Green room are quite small but with a nice surroundings. It's has a little extra than a normal B&B. It has bottle water (sparkling with lime), coffee, tea & Scottish shortbread. The nice garden has lots of...

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and it was superb again. The staff remembered us and are always really helpful and friendly. We ate in the Chop House one night of our 3 nights, lovely food here and at breakfast. There is also a very good wine shop which somehow we missed before. Only downside is slow wifi.

We have visited the chop house and restaurant on many occasions and enjoyed it. However, yesterday we visited for a late lunch/early tea and were a bit disappointed. The steaks were not as good as usual and we felt harassed to hurry up and get out. I know they were busy but we like to relax and enjoy our food....
