We booked here expecting a quality hotel due to the blarney woolen mills international reputation.
I dont blame the staff really as problems of this magnitude are most definitely a management issue.

The hotel was very nice, clean, friendly staff. The location was great. Next to the Blarney Castle and a little village with shops along the street. It had a couple of pubs and the Blarney Woollen Mills shop right next to it.

I don’t agree with the comments that Blarney isn’t a good base to see cork city. It is a short bus ride for cork city it’s 9km 6 miles . A 13 min taxi ride @ €10 . But is I’m not sure but I think €3/4 . It’s a secure ,safe... More
