On arrival 1st impressions very nice. Big entrance areas and large rooms. However the rest of the hotel ie breakfast room and bedrooms very tired. Breakfast room in need of a good clean. Chairs badly stained. Breakfast was cheap quality bacon and powdered scrambled eggs. On arrival we were told restaurant not open due to wedding functions. This hotel does... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Overall we were happy with the hotel. The room was spacious even with the baby's travel cot set up. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in Suttons bar and were pleased with the service and the food. I would personally recommend the pulled pork sandwich. Only negative was not being... More

Stayed here on 26/11/16. Walked into a very cold reception area and checked in. Corridors and lift were very cold and had a musty smell. Room was warm, but there didn't seem to be any room service, as I couldn't locate a menu in the room. However, I am open to correction on this. In the evening we went down... More

The one I stayed in was dated, unattractive, cold and in need of refurbishment The first problem was how to get in to the place, we could not find Reception or the main entrance to the hotel and drove around twice... Myself and my partner spent 3 nights here and it was brilliant. The leisure facilities are top notch. The food in the hotel is also of very high standard and plentiful for breakfast. We were here to celebrate my partners birthday and we mentioned that to reception staff when checking in, when we got back to the room that evening... More
