Excellent location, several great restaurants and bars nearby and only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed, got 5 really good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend staying at the Ashley hotel if you're visiting Cork.

Decided to book into the Ashley Hotel for a night away from the hussle and bussle of life. Arriving to this hotel was rather unpleasant. Looking at the scummy exterior into the rather out of date interior. Receptionist staff were rather rude, using a very judgemental tone of voice as I try to finish the final details of booking in....

If you want a nice hotel room to hang out in and enjoy the decor and ambiance, don't choose this one. If you just want a bed for the night and you're not going to be in the room any longer than necessary then it's fine. I found my room clean and I found the bed and pillows reasonably comfortable,...

I visited Cork for my birthday on St Paddys day and had to catch a very early flight out on the Sunday. I foolishly left my iPad behind which had got lost under the bed, and I didn't realise until after I had arrived at the airport and gone through security. I rang the hotel at 5 in the morning...

The Ashley is located on a great street in Cork -- pubs and restaurants abound nearby. Our room was classically older European -- two twin beds, a smallish closet, a spacious bath and a large window. No elevator/lift available. It was very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay, including free gated parking. Very friendly staff as well....

Having stayed at this hotel last weekend I must admit having seen some of the reviews I was not sure what to expect. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. There has evidently been a lot of refurbishment going on and for the price and central location it is hard to beat. Luxury it is not but my wife and...

This is a no thrills hotel that is very old fashioned and managed by a very nasty and rude, older, blonde haired woman. After a night out in the city we returned to the hotel at around 3am, it was a bit of a struggle to get in as the room door was jammed, but after a shoulder we gained...

This hotel is rotten.I have never in my life seen a horrific dump in my life. A homeless shelter would have been cleaner. The smell is unbearable. This is not a family hotel..This is a tinder hook up hotel. more like a brothel even that would be cleaner. please please don't stay here and pay 60€ or more for this...

This is a very basic hotel with no frills. The bedroom was fine but on the tiny side, it was a single room. It was very clean and had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities but the bed was very firm and would have been enhanced by a mattress topper. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the plus...
