We found the killarney guest house perfect for our stay in Cork. It is conveniently situated to both UCC and the city centre. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to leave our car parked in the very safe and secure carpark for a number of hours after we had checked out....

Positives first: pleasant staff, good breakfast. Not so positives: we had to travel at short notice due to a close friend's critical illness. This room was booked as part of a Ryan Air flight and hotel package. Having spent a few minutes looking at options we chose this, based on the photos of reasonably modern decor and furnishings and a...

The room was cold. The hot water took 10 minutes to heat up. The guest house has lowered it's standard and I would not recommend this accomodation again to anyone.

For the price this is a great b&b, not far from the town centre and with very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast offered plenty of choice for a reasonable price (the pancakes were lovely) The room was large and had more wardrobes than I could ever possibly use. The bathroom was small but adequate.

Located on the Western Road, opposite University of Cork, and about 20 minutes walk from the City centre, Killarney Guest House is a clean & tidy, well run B&B on the main road out of the west of Cork, on the bus route from the city centre. I stayed for 1 night in a single room and although it was...

I visited this weekend for a lad's trip to Cork. We paid £25 each per night (£50 a night for a twin), and for that money i view anything more than a bed and a shower is a bonus! The guest house was in a good location about 15 minutes out of town and the area was nice and quiet....

We arrived with our motorcycles and had a lot of parking space. The lady of the reception was very confused. She couldn't remember if we had paid (via Booking.com). The room was very small and the bathroom even too small for my husband who is 1m90. But I need to say the breakfast was very good and the staff in...

Terrible! I booked this place through hotels.com. I arrived with my confirmed booking only to be told they didn't have a room. So the woman has me follow her down the street and wait while she asks at another B & B (that they supposedly also run) if they had a room (they didn't). Then on to another B &...
