Hayfield Manor is a 20 min walk from Cork's main restaurant/shopping district and is situated within a beautiful garden with historic trees. Thus away from the crowds and noise but requiring a walk to get to the city center. There is ample valet parking. The main building is historic and beautiful, the rooms good sized but slightly dated in furnishings....

Let's be clear...this is a good hotel with excellent staff. It is however, very focussed on the American coach groups of meateaters. I make note of this commercial choice rather than criticise. The staff are great. The cleaners are REALLY good though some decor needs a little maintenance I'm afraid. For example our (large) bathroom had a exposed nail and...

This is a beautiful property - the manor feels like an old stately home, even though it was built in the 1990s. Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, delicious breakfast - what else could you ask for? The grounds are lovely, particularly the garden in the rear. Highly recommended!

Staff are very well trained and so nice. The rooms are beautiful and beds most comfortable. Food is good, but could be better for a 5 ✨ hotel. The breakfast is very good with a great selection of bread cereals etc.for a continental or freshly cooked for an Irish.

If I could live anywhere else in the world I would have a hard time choosing between Hayfield Manor and Ashford Castle, coincidently both in Ireland. The staff treated one another like family and shared that feeling with guests. My room was lovely and especially comfortable. I will be happy to recommend and to return someday.

€5 cab drive from the city but in a quiet enclave. Lovely grounds. Exceptional room. Exceptionally well-trained, well-mannered and courteous staff. Absolutely divine breakfast. The hotel is great value and of course, Cork in summer is not to be missed.

Hayfield Manor is an oasis of calm and genteel elegance, surrounded by mature planting and tastefully landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces and yet is just minutes from Cork city centre. Everything about this five star property screams quality and class and is one of my favourite hotels in Ireland. Do yourself a favour and experience it at least once!
