I stayed here on many occasions over a three month period for personal reasons which required my presence in Cork. It has to be be the best place to stay in Cork ( or anywhere for they matter). From the ladies on the phone who make the booking - incredibly nice - to the waiting staff, the bar staff, housekeeping,...

Although it might appear that I didn't enjoy my stay at the Hayfield Manor I have to confirm that I did but that I do not believe the hotel should be rated as five star. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the Reception staff who had the unfortunate job of advising us that our room was not ready (15.30...

Dear Vonniemacmahon I apologise sincerely that your visit to Hayfield Manor did not live up to our very high standards and more importantly the standards that you would have rightly expected. We have had a tremendous amount of fantastic feedback over the years but when we get it wrong such as in some of the issues that you have raised...

This is the second time we have stayed in Hayfield Manor.Beautiful Hotel, warm welcome. We were brought to the attic section with lots of sloping roof's,which was booked as a junior suite, disappointed with it,looked nothing like the web picture's,or nothing like the room we stayed in previously. The bar and its staff were first class. The restaurant, the food and the service was second to...

The Hotel is a former manor residence of a wealthy Cork family. We were greeted by a super friendly doorman. The reception area / lobby is all you would expect with photographs of famous visitors from Bill Connolly to Clinton. On arrival our room was not ready although we were well past the check in time. The room for friends...

Stayed one night with a friend and really loved the place. It's very pricey though. The staff are what really make it. I've stayed in 5 star hotels before and found some to be very pretentious which was definitely not the case here. All staff that I encountered were very friendly, natural and genuinely interested in talking to you especially...

Our stay in Hayfield was my first time just going to a hotel as a break in itself, I'd usually just use a hotel as a place to stay! You are made feel so welcome from the minute you arrive and almost feel a bit lazy for everything they do for you. My girlfriend thought it was the best massage...

This is one hotel that really deserves its five star rating. My husband and I stayed the weekend of 30 January to 1 February and were reluctant to leave.
