Awful shabby nasty B&B. One lamp & locker in double room. Cotton wool from previous guest on floor by freezing cold radiator. Sink falling from walk. Toilet wobbly. Paint work dirty, stray paint on the cheapest door I have ever seen. Stray door propped up outside bedroom door. Didn't chance breakfast. Do not take this trip back to the dirty...

Had a nice welcome from the staff. The breakfast was good and the lady serving was very friendly. The building a is a little tired. I was on business for an evening and alone so it was grand for the price.

The camera never lies? Not true! Grim, dated, dirty. Paintwork peeling everywhere. Bathroom (more like closet) in room 10 so small, shaver light broken, loo seat broken, door damaged, shower filthy. Bedroom furniture mismatched, 1 bedside locker & 1 lamp to accommodate 1 double & 1 single bed, no dressing table, minimal power points, paltry tea tray, TV no bigger...

Very well established guesthouse, given keys right away. Complimentary breakfast given every morning which was warm and friendly reception from owner. The room was well taken care off and great stay!!

I stayed here last Monday the 6th of February. I had a wonderfully warm welcome, nice room and I was well fed at breakfast! The location suited me as I was close to UCC and the city. I felt the owners went above and beyond to make me feel at ease.

I stayed here for a long weekend. It's an old house, run down and a little shabby, but clean rooms and beds. The breakfast is great and the staff are friendly. The downside were the windows in the bedroom. There was a terrible draft from them but wear an extra jumper or some socks to bed and you'll be fine.

I stayed 2 nights over the Jazz weekend, and my first night I was upstairs. The paint on the walls was chipped, the showerhead sprayed up to the ceiling as well as down, and as a result there is mould over the shower and the lino on the floor has seen better days. The breakfast room was last decorated in...

Just looking at reviews on this guesthouse which unfortunately I had to stay there last year.one thing I'm amazed by is that this place is still operating as a guesthouse. The house next door is boarded up just like this place should be. How it is not shut down is worrying. The Irish should have a TV program called guesthouse,s...

Stayed here for one night on our way from Dublin to Killarney. Was perfect for a short stay and reasonably priced. If you're looking for 5 stars and luxury, perhaps keep looking. But if you're doing this on a budget and intend to be out and about enjoying the surrounds, as we were, this will be right for you.

Just returned from a long weekend staying at the Redclyffe. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was tasty. The rooms probably could do with some modernisation, however they were clean and comfortable, so the dated decor did not affect us at all. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. The property is in a...
