We stayed two nights. Our second floor room was clean, freshly painted, newly carpeted and relatively spacious with a Queen and single bed. Closet sized bathroom was clean with small wash basin but good on-demand shower. Although facing the street, noise level was very low...More
The B&B is really quite near to the City Centre, parking is for free and the Breakfast is good - That‘s it with the positive. The Wifi doesn‘t work. The windows are broken. For 100€ per night renovation really urgently needed.
Was going to give a damning report of this place but maryross2014 says it all. We to were worried about the key issue so put cases behind door but of course couldn’t while we were out!
The owners we’re very nice but when compared to...More
Lovely B&B. We arrived late and no issues with checking in. The room is basic but clean and had everything you need. Breakfast was great. A bit further from town but still an easy walk. Opposite the university campus.
We went to visit our daughter who was doing study abroad at ucc and decided to try a b and b. Great experience, lovely people, awesome food, and lovely accommodations. We were made to feel like welcome guests.

G'day, not sure where the Marquee is exactly, however there is a bus stop right out the front of the Redclyffe and there are regular buses into the centre of Cork for only two euro's (June 2015). The stroll into town is not arduous and will take the average person 10-15 minutes and is a nice way to walk off the full irish brekky in the mornings. There are some nice walks in the immediate vicinity to the Redclyffe as well to the front is the University grounds and to the rear some walks along the River Lee. Hope this helps you.

G'day, I can recommend "Reidy's Vault Bar" located only 5 minute stroll to Redclyffe Guest House. It is the same road heading towards town on the left hand side and has a large olde style Red Double Door. It has lovely decor and whilst I only had the soup with brown bread and butter, it was wholesome and tasty. The manager is a friendly fella and could not do enough for his customers. I did enjoy my solo 6 nights at the Redclyffe with Mick and Maura and would be happy to recommend them for a good priced, comfortable place to stay. Their full irish brekky is a must and I found them to be friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. There is a bus stop right outside the guest house. Two euro's into town or a pleasant stroll no more than 10-15 depending on your pace.
