Welcomed by wonderful tea when we arrived. Bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The highlight was breakfast - an excellent range of different dishes, all of high quality. The house is near the University. It's about a ten minute walk back into the centre of the town. There are some interesting restaurants nearby - but be aware that some of...

One of the nicest B&B's/Hostels I've stayed in. Staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Located a short walk from the city and nightlife centre it is a perfect to stay for going out. Would highly recommend

This B&B is so lovely and the welcome we had was second to none. From the gorgeous tea and cakes on arrival to the friendly informative staff, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for three nights and had breakfast every morning. At 10 euros per person if you have a room only booking, it is the best for taste...

I was in Cork for business for 2 nights and I booked into Garnish House as it was really close to the University (where I was going). Put simply, this place is brilliant from start to finish. Firstly, the rooms here are great. Some B&Bs can be basic or rooms can be smaller than advertised and so on, but in...

Excellent welcoming B&B within 10 minutes walk from city centre. The term B&B does not do this superb guesthouse justice. From the initial welcome on arrival, including an excellent afternoon tea, to the warm clean and comfortable room with wifi in all areas. This doesn't prepare you for breakfast which is a five course affair. Homemade food in abundance and...

This b&b has it all. Great staff, beds, location and breakfast, what more could you want? Well parking in a city where parking is at a premium, yes it has that too! The beds were super big (we were in an king size room) and exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast menu is so long you'd need to stay a month to...

What a week! B&B just next to the UCC College, great for parents visiting students. Moreover the rooms are of unrivaled comfort. Breakfast can accommodate students if requested. This breakfast is a pure marvel. The staff is extremely kind, and made my parents want to come back! Thank you!

It's lovely to travel in off season since good places like the Garnish House tend to upgrade you to a better room - and that meant a family room for just the two of us. We arrived around 5 and were invited to 'tea' in the dining room, which was so welcome after a day of bracing cold, windy, wet...

Cork was our first stop after arriving in Ireland that morning. We were jet lagged and exhausted and Garnish House was just what we needed. We had such a great night's sleep. Loved the tea and scones that we were served upon arrival. We also enjoyed our traditional Irish breakfast the next day. Highly recommend! Something I noticed about all...

I'm not a fan of B&B's usually, but I was really impressed by this one. Warm welcome and professional service from start to finish. The room was well appointed and finished to the same standard as a 3* Hotel, albeit a fraction smaller. Facilities were excellent and the room was warm and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again if...
