Stayed with family (two daughters) for one night. It is more similar to an hotel than to a real B&B. Room small but tidy, bathroom clean with Jacuzzi. Annoying tiny sink with two separate taps for hot and cold water. Breakfast awesome. Staff very helpful and friendly. A bit too pricy for a B&B. 20 minutes walk to the city...

I love Garnish House and the good people that work so hard to give everyone a near perfect experience. Here are my favorite things: tea and scones and cake as soon as you arrive; the helpful owner and staff (Johanna and Marcello) that let you print out boarding passes and bus tickets --- and then double - check that you've...

We stayed in this B&B for 2 nights in August. The food is amazing, the room was fine if a bit small, and the people were friendly. The B&B has parking available, and you can walk to the city centre (~20 min). Overall, a good experience:)

We stayed for two nights (Aug 20th and 21st 2012) and had a wonderful experience here of Irish hospitality at its best from the time we arrived until we left. On arrival we were greeted warmly and offered some delicious afternoon tea and scones. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. My husband celebrated a significant birthday while we...

We had a great family room with plenty of space for 5. We spent one night and had a nice sitting room and kitchen to use as well (shared). Easy access to stroll the area very close to the University. The welcome was lovely and breakfast was to die for! My only complaint is that they automatically charged my card...

Garnish house is legendary in the local university as the best place to put research visitors. Location: Very close to university college cork, about 10 mins walk from the main city centre. Outside of rush hour, it only takes about 15 mins in car/taxi to the airport. Food: When you arrive, you're offered tea and cake, which I unfortunately had...

Staff very friendly yet professional at all times even to the point of borrowing a hand mirror from a neighbour for me to use. I've stayed here twice recently during overnight or weekend trips to Cork with my girlfriend. We booked fairly last minute but still managed to get a good rate. We've had the same room both times and I must say it is extremely clean and just right for an overnight visit. We had a king sized bed and it was extraordinarily...

Stayed in room 4 (I think) which was facing the main road - which can get a bit noisy in the early morning. No issue for me as I sleep with ear plugs. Its a twin room and the beds were very comfy. They use king koil mattress. No a/c but its a cool summer, so we were fine. Bathroom...

We just spent a family holiday in Ireland and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely place. We were received in the most welcoming way possible, "not allowed" into our family room until we had taken some tea/ coffee and hot chocolate for the kids and some lovely scones and bread. The room was in a different building further...
