Writing this in the genuine hope that something constructive could come out of this I am living locally and went down the bank holiday Monday of the jazz weekend, for dinner with my friends family from Dublin. The bar itself was empty cold and totally devoid of any atmosphere . As a publican surely you have to spend money to make money...

Many thanks for taking the time to review us. It is unfortunate that you were not able to join us on either the Saturday or Sunday nights of the Bank holiday Weekend to enjoy the live music that we had. Regarding investment in the property we are currently dealing with Cameron Wallace Architects with a view to refurbishing the bar...

Tatty, ragged, old fashioned. Doors sticking and needing a good shove with the shoulder to get them open, uncomfortable beds and pillows so awful I slept with a cushion and ended up with insect bites necessitating 2 doctor visits and prescription to eradicate. In fairness, when we informed the management they refunded us €100 towards the doctor visits which were...

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. To be fair and transparent I think that it is important to let people know that immediately after you made us aware of your complaint in early September we called in our environmental consultants to investigate your issues. As you are aware from subsequent correspondance with your husband no evidence...

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. Overall we felt it was excellent value and have recommended it to family members

I would just like to compliment the Commons Inn on the hospitality shown to my friend and I during our one night stay. Staff could not have been friendlier. We ate there for dinner and breakfast. lovely food, great value. The rooms were scrupulously clean. I look forward to my next opportunity to stay there.

No elevator. We got to carry our suitcases up a "short" flight of steps. I like no steps when it comes to carrying suitcases. Cracked sink in the bathroom. Hole on the wall. Mold on the peeling bathroom ceiling. Stained carpet. Noisy road right out of the window. We won't be back.

We stayed here two nights with my husband and my mother in law. The rooms were spacious and clean although quite dark. There is a definite musty smell in the hallways but luckily doesn't come into the rooms. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
