breakfast and the huge garden with a great view. Also the beds and bathroom were perfect. The staff waited late for us as we were delayed arriving which was lovely and appreciated. It was tricky to find as it was up a steep hill and we arrived late at night...also the entrance to the car park is not for the...

Great friendly staff, located a short walk (10 min) from city centre, it's a lovely old building that has been updated to a great standard. Amazing shower in my room. Hugh comfy bed and wifi that works. Breakfast was fab, with loads of choice. It has a large car park.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful from the moment of arrival to the moment of leaving. The building is a beautiful Georgian building with a shallow sweeping staircase so even though i have mobility issues it wasn't a problem. Neither was the steep slope down into the building. I just allowed plenty of time and took things easy. The...

A bit of an uphill walk, but worth it. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, full breakfast. I didn't love Cork City, but I did like these lodgings. They gave me info for self-guided walks, which I enjoyed.

After originally being a bit daunted by the difficult access (we approached from coming uphill then went past & entered driving downhill to make it easier) & the slope of the car park, we received a warm friendly welcome on arrival with lots of advice & a map as to how to spend our evening in Cork. There are discounts...

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts I must admit the hill is daunting for most people unless you are from San Francisco. The electricity is accessed by key card to prevent items over heating when guests leave hair straighteners etc plugged in on leaving the room. All bedside lights can be switched off either from the...

A weekend break at a good rate was very enjoyable. Goodbreakfast and friendly staff. Even though I was a solo traveller I was given a nice spacious double room. A maid confirmed that 112 - 113 - and 114 were the best with City views.

Booked for one night needed somewhere near railway station. First impression ok clean reception, rang for attention and was greeted and booked cab for early next morning. As I had an early appointment and always worry about not waking to my alarm asked if it was possible to have early morning call? The receptionist said that in that case she...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, it is always good to have a positive first impression of any premises. All guests should have a warm comfortable room, my sincere apologies that you had to sleep in a cold room, as rooms are occupied by different people on a daily basis the previous occupant may have turned...

In my view this is a very overpriced B and B. We paid nearly €120 and stayed in a small room which was up three flights of stairs. The room was a little grim and the bathroom was tiny. The common areas were fairly tatty and the dining room was very untidy. No sound proofing and an uncomfortable bed made for...

Thank you for taking the time to share your views, I don't have information relating to your individual booking so cannot comment on rates / room type at this point. This Georgian building located on a hill has been adapted for current use it is not custom built, we make no secret of this in our public information. Should any...

Arrived early Saturday morning and luckily we were able to have breakfast. Good choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc. I had the scrambled egg and salmon which was tasty although on the following 2 days I had the full cooked Irish which was good and I especially loved the white pudding. From the minute we arrived the staff were really...
