1 block off Western, Fernroyd House is quiet, but still near everything. Very nice room with 2 big, comfortable beds, nice, little bath, excellent breakfast, WiFi and free parking. Also, all the linen is washed here and hung out to dry in fresh air! We're completely happy and our hosts, Tony and Avril are accommodating and really helpful.

The Fernroyd House is ran by a wonderfully hospitable couple. We unfortunately only had 1.5 days in Cork, but they were very helpful in helping us to narrow down what to see and pointing out a few of the better spots in town for food, drinks and music. Breakfasts was also great, and my wife was a huge fan of...

Wonderful B&B immediately adjacent to UCCork. Great rooms, breakfast was splendid and Tony and Avril were the most gracious hosts we could have hoped for. Can't recommend them enough. ... scones were delicious every morning. We will miss all!

We stayed at Fernroyd house recently with some friends while visiting Cork and had a lovely stay. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. It's about 10/15 min walk into the city centre, location is great. Spacious clean rooms and yummy breakfast! Would definitely stay again if I were back in Cork

Just returned from my first visit to Cork staying at Fernroyd House for four nights. You will want for nothing. The warmth and friendliness of Avril and Tony on arrival made me feel comfortable and "at home" from the first night. My flight had been delayed and I arrived late evening. They were both at the door to greet me...

Stayed here for five days this past week and it was the best B&B experience I've ever had! From my arrival until my departure Tony and Avril went above and beyond to make me feel welcome during my stay, providing fantastic recommendations on places I had never been to before on prior stays in Cork! They know the area and...

We loved the entire experience. Tony and Avril were absolutely the best, and made us feel like family. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Ireland (I am missing the scones and jam so much). I will definitely stay with them again.

Tony & Avril are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful location right near the University and only a delightful 10-15 minute walk into the heart of town. The walk is right along the river. They answered all our questions and gave us all the information we needed for Cork as well as our visit to Blarney. They also strongly suggested...
