We spent one night here - the room was spotless, comfortable and so tastefully furnished and decorated. We were welcomed by Joan and shown to our room; we felt immediately at home and had a good sleep in the very comfortable bed. After a hearty breakfast served up by Joan's eldest daughter we went to Donegal town which is about...

This is a nice B & B which is very close to a car park and the town. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, but a little on the small side, although it has everything you need. Lovely private parking and free WiFi. Breakfast was very good, different from a lot of B & Bs in...

We couldn't have been happier than to have experienced a stay with Joan, Liam and their family. The Cove Lodge is set in a beautiful country site that allows for relaxation and comfort. The breakfast was five star and Joan was happy to share information about some of the sites to see in the area. Easy to find and a...

After finding a room available on a booking site online I decided to phone direct and reserved this room........big mistake. On arrival ( after a 3 hour drive) we were shown upstairs to a room, we left off our bags and went for dinner into Donegal town. Our room was very disappointing, no wardrobe for our clothes, squeaky broken bed, shower...

My husband and I stayed at The Cove during our honeymoon trip to Ireland. We arrived before check-in, but Joan was nice enough to let us check in early. Our room was comfortable, and everything about our two-night stay there was great. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and Joan had excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions to visit. We had...

We had a wonderful stay at The Cove after the drive from Dublin to Donegal Town. The accommodations were pleasant and comfortable. It's a short drive in to Donegal from the Cove so it's convenient, yet feels as if we were staying out in the relaxing countryside. We stayed three nights and had a terrific visit to Donegal Town and...

My husband and I stayed at The Cove for one night as we were attending the country music weekend in Donegal Town. We were a bit late arriving but Liam and Joan didn`t seem to mind as I had phone ahead of arrival. Liam was very helpful and professional and gave us the number of a local taxi company. The...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! We arrived a little later than planned thanks to traffic, but Liam was waiting for us and took the time to show us a map of the local area, with recommended sites & places to eat. That was much appreciated after a long journey! The B&B is just a 5 minute drive...

We only stayed here one night, but we really enjoyed our stay! Joan is so nice and helped us find/call for a tire service since we blew it out. The lodge is very nice and the room is lovely and spacious ! Breakfast was delicious too! Less than a 5 minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Cove Lodge for 5 nights and enjoyed them all. Firstly, the sight seeing we did was excellent - and that was due to Liam (owner of the Cove Lodge) taking the time to give us a map and explaining the best sites to visit. Then it was the town. Beautiful, easy to get around, plenty if...
