We were with another couple and stayed there one night as we were passing through. We only regret not staying longer. This place was beautiful, peaceful, and it was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in while in Ireland (not saying the others were not clean but this one was just over the top). And Noreen, the hostess, was so...

I had the pleasure of staying with Noreen for two nights earlier this month. I was working in the area and I was lucky that the weather was beautiful. Lough Eske is heaven on earth and staying at The Arches is a perfect position to experience this. There are beautiful views from the house and the only sounds are in...

The room and whole place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. the towels were large white and fluffy which Jean loved The setting was perfect, we had an absolutely stunning view of the lough from our room window. the breakfast...

When I stay in Ireland I've always preferred B&Bs and this place proves why. Noreen was delightful and made us fantastic breakfasts every morning to get us started on our day exploring Co. Donegal. The room was comfortable and the view over the lake was amazing. Thank you, Noreen for running a fantastic little getaway.

We had a one night stay at the Arches last week whilst meeting some friends who were staying in the town. The accommodation is spotless and a friendly greeting is received from Noreen on arrival. She is a superbly relaxed hostess and make you feel right at home. Our Room (5) was spotless with a lovely ensuite featuring a large...

It was just one night, but the spacious room was clean and perfect with an electric blanket and also spacious bathroom. The view in the morning was awesome and the breakfast was most delicious with various self made dishes offered. All in all, just a perfect stay with a lovely and nice landlady.

Noreen is a fantastic host. She was very accommodating from the moment we booked the room and arrived at her home. It was a girl's trip to attend a wedding in the beautiful Lough Eske, but this B&B has nothing to envy. Very clean, crisp bed linen, very modern, quiet area & breath-taking views. All in all, a trip to...

This B&B is great. Our room was not only spotlessly clean but thoughtfully appointed-our bed linens were beautiful and the room felt well cared for. We stayed in a room at the front of the house with a seating area looking out over the lough which was a real treat. I cannot fault our stay on any level, Noreen was...

For my second visit to Donegal, with my husband along this time, I wrote to Noreen to ask about availability and received an immediate and enthusiastic reply. She remembered me from a visit three years ago with my cousins and welcomed a return stay. As before, we arrived and were greeted warmly at the front door and were given our...
