Spent a couple of nights and found it to be very relaxing. At first it appears to be a large Spa hotel, but we found it to be very friendly and intimate. The entire staff we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. The "pub" was much more pleasant and welcoming than the Cedars, which was billed as "fine dining". Gave...

Lough Eske Castle is located in the quiet Donegal countryside. The staff are attentive, helpful and welcoming! The grounds are well maintained with several formal gardens ideal for contemplative walks. There is a comprehensive spa, workout room and an indoor pool complete with a steam room nearby! Come and relax at Lough Eske Castle!

This stay of two nights was part of a "Castle Experience" trip offered through Groupon and put together by Great Value Vacations. Of the four castle in which we stayed, this was our favorite. We are told that this is the only 5 star hotel in Ireland (I'm skeptical) and it lived up to the hype. Check-in was very quick...

Excellent hotel. Had afternoon tea, dinner in restaurant and breakfast. All absolutely amazing. I think the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel! Very comfy bed and lovely toiletries. We were in a courtyard room. But it's the staff that make the hotel really special.

A lovely stay during Easter 2017. Stayed in the garden suites/apt. The hotel is perfect for a chilled out, switch off weekend. Hotel is very tastefully modernised. Staff were consistently excellent and friendly. Geraldine on reception extended a very friendly and warm welcome. Suite was very comfortable and to a high standard. Pool was nice (though could do with a...

We visited the spa before check in for an hour or two. It was lovely and quiet as it isn't very big! The room was amazing with a four poster bed but the best feature was definitely the massive bathroom! We ate lunch and dinner in the hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were full of...

We picked this place at random when doing the trans penine trail on our bikes as it was cheap and got a whole lot more. All the staff were excellent, even accomadating our muddy bikes. The building itself is a mightly impressive castle only slightly let down by a couple of 70s additions. The room was large, clean and comfortable...

Absolutely gorgeous venue. Stayed two nights. Bedroom spacious with gorgeous shower gel and body lotion. Breakfast delicious. Loved it. Would love to go back and explore Donegal. Not enough time to visit Spa but looked good.

My daughter-in-law and I stayed here for two nights on our tour of Ireland castles. What and amazing place! The grounds are well maintained and full of sculpture. While checking in the staff was very helpful with suggestions on places to visit like the Slieve League cliffs which we had visited prior to checking in. They asked what our plans...
