Lough Eske is a nice place. The hotel at Lough Eske is a nice hotel BUT!.... for the price, far too many niggles. If you want somewhere very quiet and restful great, BUT its not lively. In fact I would describe it as a bit lacking any sort of life. The breakfast is great BUT we had to queue for...

We stayed for 1night just before Christmas. From the moment we drove into the grounds we were all speechless and in awe of the surroundings. The castle was decorated for Christmas and this added to the character of it. Twinkling lights , Christmas trees , roaring fires and a huge gingerbread house !! It really was magical. We enjoyed a...

From the moment I entered the drive way I was blown away. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I attended the hotel for a wedding on 30th December and stayed for two nights. Upon entering the front door, a concierge named Peter made us feel at ease which is very important to me especially in what some would say...

This hotel was magnificent. We had a garden suite as we were attending a wedding at the castle. The room was very large with every luxury you could think of. The staff were extremely helpful and loved the chef that made your eggs to order at breakfast. He made the best omelettes. The breakfast had plenty of options for everyone....

I stayed here for two nights for my partners birthday. We chose a garden room as we had our dog with us, so we weren't staying in the main hotel. The staff are all incredible and will bend over backward for you. We had to move rooms after checking in as we had a problem with the heating. The bed...

We decided to round off the Christmas break with afternoon tea at Solis Lough Eske earlier today 07 Jan 17. The Positives:- Friendly, unobtrusive staff, provide good, attentive service. Without having to ask, when other diners had departed, we were offered a window table, with a view. The setting is quite impressive, even though our visit was on a misty,...
