I stayed here for 2 nights, got to the hostel and it smells. Take my advice and pay an extra few euros to stay in the good part of the city. Everyone that i met told me that the hostel was situated in the bad side of the city with a lot of drugs etc. I didn't see anything though....

I travelled for a weekend trip to Dublin with 4 friends in August. We had booked a room at the Times Hostel which had great reviews but when we got there they had stuffed up the booking and could not give us a whole room as we'd booked. They rang around and said we could have a whole room at...

Staff were unhelpful, had to pay for a member of our group who didn't turn up, even though the bed was rented out to someone else so they didn't lose any money. No bed linen given, everything was either out of order or very old. Not worth the money. Won't be back.

I spent 4 weeks in this hostel while I was looking for a job in Dublin. It is the terrible hostel I ever saw. It is very dirty and cold. I saw also animals in the kitchen. I booked through a good website for hostels. In the reservation they said that the breakfast was in the price but one day...

This hostel was rotten. The toilet and shower were growing bacteria. The toilet set was dirty and unstable. My friends and i were kept awake the whole night long with loud noises from outside the building. The location is terrible at night. i felt like it was truly unsafe. I didn't sleep a wink and im almost 100% certain i...

What a hole! As soon as we walked into the building the smell hit us. I can't even describe what the smell could be, but it was awful. To add to that, there were flies everywhere. The place is dingy, and extremely unclean. We were shown to our room to be welcomed by an even worse smell and a broken...

Was pretty cheap, I think 15 euro for the night but it wasn't worth it. We slept in a dorm room and the beds weren't in great shape. We woke up in the morning with a horrible smell in the room. We were 5 minutes late checking out and they made us pay extra. On the up side they did...

So for 10 euros a night, this place was exactly worth that. You're placed in a mixed room with a bunch of other beds and no storage space. The women's bath wasn't even on my floor. From 11-2 they clean so you have to be out of the hostel. The location is near the train station though, so that was...

We stayed in Shining Hostel, Dublin, for one night in mid-April. We were travelling on a very tight budget and this hostel suited our needs in this instance. We stayed in a 20person dorm with an ensuite bathroom. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Bedding was included but you will need to hire a towel if you haven't...
