I originally planned to go to the Brazen Head for dinner but it was just jammed with people, so I wandered over to O'Sheas and got a table right away. I had the prix fix and it was just great, good Irish fare and a good price too. They had a duo singing Irish songs, one on guitar and a...

O'Shea's is around the corner from our hotel. After travelling all night we arrived at hour hotel & headed out for breakfast / came highly recommended by staff and the good & service were fabulous! Do good that after a full day of sightseeing we headed back for dinner - again wonderful! When you close your eyes and dream of...

My husband and I stopped in for a quick stop before heading to Kilmainham jail for a tour. We had about an hour to spare. We sat at the bar, had a great time talking with the bartender Debbie! We each chatted about our lives, had traditional Irish pub drinks, me a Jamison and ginger with lime, my husband a...

We went to this restaurant/pub for dinner on the night that Ireland played in the Eurocup! Surprisingly this place was not too crowded (although we did take the last table). We had great service, yummy beer and cider on tap and good food (salad, vegetable soup, chicken curry and prime rib) the chicken curry was very yummy and came with...

Excellent pub - traditionally Irish, great location, live music, and friendly people. It didn't seem to be overrun with tourists, although we weren't there on the weekend. We only visited the pub, so we can't comment on the hotel side of the business. This proved to be our go-to pub during our time in Dublin.

Brilliant service, the staff were on the ball, great food, delicious steak sarnie, cheap beer, what more could you ask for?!! Lovely traditional Irish music playing in the background (the girl on the fiddle was amazing, and the guy, such a good singer) A great place, highly recommended.

This was our home from home and a minutes walk from the hostel we stayed in. From the moment we walked in the lasses behind the bar have fed and watered us for the entire weekend! The food was fantastic and the Guinness was top notch! We used this place everyday for food, meeting up and just general sitting and...

This is the best breakfast in Dublin. The meal is much bigger than a dinner if you can eat the full Irish breakfast with Guiness bread etc. Fantastic food at a brilliant price and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommended.

This is primarily a pub for locals, and they keep coming back because food and prices are good. We walked down from our hotel, we were received with friendly verbal jousting which entertained us all night. The staff got us drinks quickly, and the food war very tasty and also there quickly. No complaints and we left well fed, happy...

Went to Dublin with a friend for few days and used it nearly every night for our evening meal. It has a decent selection of drinks and although the food menu was not large the quality was very good and fairly cheap for Dublin. It also had different live acts on each night and some of them were excellent.
