AWESOME hotel. Very modern, very welcoming, would definitely go back to stay again. Great staff all-round, the breakfast is superb and the bed is omg, so comfortable (especially after a 30 hour flight!). The only let down will have to be the dinner at hemidemisemiquaver, menu is a bit confused and execution seems confused too.. However, don't let that stop...

We stay in the Gibson Hotel two days prior to our tour start. It was right on the tram line so it was very convenient to get into town. The hotel itself was lovely and modern with a large room. We has some trouble finding where to get the Air Coach and the staff at the hotel was very helpful...

Visited this hotel at the weekend to get a quick bite to eat before attending a concert at 3 arena with my daughter. The hotel was extremely busy but the staff were excellent. They made sure everyone had a seat and in most cases people were happy to share tables. In this location a lot of people were similar to...

We stayed in hotel because attending a concert. For this, it is so convenient as literally just a few steps away. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately I would never stay again as I felt completely ripped off!!! €250 for one night room only, another €44 for breakfast which was mostly awful. €14 to park the car over night,...

Lovely hotel, rooms were clean and spacious. Drink was reasonable considering location. Car park is expensive when staying at the hotel and the queue to get checked in and out was long. Overall cannot find any other faults however we were only there for one night. Location is great and luas stops directly outside. Not sure of the point of...

Dear bzialover_10, Thank you very much for writing about your recent visit. I do apologise for you wait to check in and out, we tend to get very busy on nights when shows are on in the arena next door as most guests tend to arrive around the same time. Sadly the car park is not operated by the hotel...

A fab venue for concert at the point. The rooms were beautiful, however the service was simply poor. The staff on the whole were rude and unfriendly with the exception of the reception staff who genuinely seemed to care . Duty manager Kevin listened to our complaints and seemed to be genuinely sorry. Euro500.00 for 4 would have expected breakfast...

The Gibson is a most unusual & somewhat funky hotel nestled in the heart of Dublin's Docklands. An added bonus that the Luas Dublin's light rail system is right outside the door. The views over the Port & Dublin bay are magnificent. The rooms are fab, good & drink good, what more could you ask for.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chic and understated with a music pedigree that runs deep, the gibson hotel Dublin is the ultimate urban retreat. Music lovers, art junkies, food fanatics - whatever your passion it's right on our doorstep. We do sleeping, meeting, dining, gigging, touring, wedding and relaxing really really well. We mix all these things with a fresh, energetic, slightly off centre approach and we know it works. Exhibitions, supporting local artists, urban weddings and the odd celebrity are elements of what makes us different to the normal Dublin Hotel. You will find our staff friendly, responsive and happy - there is a secret to this that we can't possibly share. The gibson hotel is the ideal location to explore the city and planning your stay is easy. The M1 and M50 are 8 minutes away via the Port Tunnel and we have ample covered parking for our guests. With the luas stop right outside our front door Connolly train station is only 8 minutes away and Heuston train station is a short 20 minutes from the hotel. The Luas will take you to the City centre in 10 minutes or if you prefer to take in the views of the River Liffey a brisk 15 minute walk along the quays will bring you to O'Connell street, the heart of Dublin city. Great beds, 100MB complimentary WiFi, a gym, relaxation area, restaurant, bar and meeting space are all part of the deal. The gibson hotel is modern yet comfortable, it's different and it's better, it's large, it's friendly and it's a building that is alive with great people from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. ... more   less
