Just got back from a wonderful stay. Considering the price, it would be hard to beat these apartments. They were clean, fully equipped and most of all convenient. Right in the middle of temple bar. Yes, it can get a little noisy, but what else would you expect in this location. Nothing a bit of gentle music or some ear...

Came as part of a group of 8 guys who went to school together. The location is right in the middle of temple bar and a 15 minute walk to anything you'd want to see in Dublin. Very accomodating and a great partner with the bar next door. It's great going to bed listening to authentic Irish music, and the...

Great value for money. We stayed in a 6 bed room and it was clean, spacious enough and the breakfast was OK. We also got a free pint in the pub on arrival! The staff are helpful. The shower was a bit small and the beds aren't that comfortable, but what can you expect from a budget hostel. Also there...

Location wise, probably Dublin´s best. The Gogarty´s has so much to offer - from the hostel, the bar both inside and on the street, live music, the traditional irish pub food and a restaurant. Crowded for sure in the weekends, but that is the atmosphere you would want to experience when in Dublin. The hostel itself is fairly good, decent...

If you like staying upstair of a bar then this is a perfect hotel for you. We really liked the bar downstairs, cheap food and free music. But the room was not that satisfactory. We didn't mind the loud music from downstairs but the curtain was way too thin to block out any light from outside.. There wasn't a hairdryer...

There were five of us that needed a place to stay in Dublin that was close to most sites (Trinity College, Christ Church, O'Connell street, etc) and we found this hostel. I know there are a few bad reviews, but this could not have been a better place for us. We rented the Penthouse Apartments which really were a "penthouse"....

The whole purpose for booking here was to find a cheap place in a good location whilst in town to watch rugby. It suited us down to the ground. Yes...it isn't a hotel so there are things one might expect that aren't perfect. The one room key thing is a joke! However, for a cheap price and right in the...

This place is perfect if you're looking for a cheap room in a prime location. The music was brilliant and the atmosphere was fantastic. Breakfast was good, and loved that they provided tea and coffee all day. Just what we needed after long trips around the city all day. There were a few minor issues but it wasn't really anything...

Would definitely to recommend to anybody wanting a cheap but cheerful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was more than was expected, as was the free tea/coffee throughout the day. Bedroom was very clean and no complaints to be had. Free Wifi. The location couldn't really have been any better. Only criticism is...

Gogartys hostel may be a bit tired looking and not the cleanest hostel in the world, but the prices and great and the location can't be beaten. Especially if you are looking for lots of bars and live music. The hostel is located right in the middle of Temple Bar surrounded my bars. We stayed in a 4 bed private...
