We arrived in Dublin early and although check in at the Avalon Hostel was not until 2pm they let us use the lockers to put our cases in which was helpful for the small fee of 2 Euro per day. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were fine, we booked 2 beds in a 4 bed...

The location could not be better and the staff was really helpful and nice. Pretty much everything else had something bad about it 1. The rooms were very small to have 4 beds with almost no room to leave our bags 2. No lockers or any secure option included with the price to leave our personal items 3. Wall outlets...

I only spent one night there and arrived late, but I loved everything I saw. I will be back. It's really friendly, helpful and everything I needed. Use of an ipad was great when I needed it, missed breakfast- but am sure it was great. Showers clean, rooms clean. Warm. Great location (near St Stephens Green). And the adjoining Avalon...

Stayed here for two nights recently. As hostels go, this was pretty decent. Room was clean but the bed wasn't too comfortable. Breakfast is not great, but you don't stay in a hostel for the cuisine. Overall, it provided a good budget accommodation option compared to the high prices of other places in Dublin and location was great.

We stayed in a 4 bed mixed room, the room was clean albeit a bit small but definitely a good deal for what you're paying! The bathrooms were very clean during our entire stay and there was no noise or anything at night. The fact that you need a special card to enter the hostel and then have to scan...

You can expect to get what you pay for at this place. Staff is very friendly and effective. The included breakfast is quite nasty but as breakfast is served in a coffee bar which also caters to non-hostel guests you can buy some very alternatives there. The rooms are very very basic (maybe a little too basic for my taste)....

My friends and I stayed here (we are between 23-25 years old), there was only 5 of us but we booked a 6 bed dorm with its own bathroom. The room and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard, breakfast was what expected, staff were friendly and it was in a great location! I couldn't really fault it for the...

Upon the first 2 minutes of arriving at this hostel everything appeared nice and welcoming, but that was short lived. We were greeted by cold impatient reception staff, then to witness same staff rudely talking to a customer who was staying there and not offering any explanation or help for their query, when they asked to speak to a manager...
