A beautiful hotel for everyone. Close to St. Stephen's Green and to verias shopping centers. Cooked breakfast choices, bar menu for evening snacks, quality service, decor and furnishings, easy walking access to central Dublin The rooms vary in size so you better ask for a big room if you can. Otherwise the room can be small.

This hotel is about 2 minutes walk to grafton street - you can shop and bring back the bags to the hotel , have a rest and go back shopping again - so convenient . The hotel itself is 'old school' , charming , cosy friendly - lovely atmosphere - A slice of 'real' ireland and not the soulless hotel... More

This was actually quite a find. We come to Dublin quite often and meet up with family. We normally have a drink at Café en Seine and then go to a restaurant. On Friday Night 18 November we had been told our usual place to meet up was totally packed as the Rugby was on the next day and the... More

My Wife and I took a three day break and flew to Dublin where we were booked into Buswells Hotel. The Hotel is excellently situated opposite the Dail, the Government Building, in the centre of Dublin. The style of the hotel is rather like a country hotel in the middle of a city. It is very well used and busy... More

My mother and I stayed at Buswell's Hotel for 3 nights early in October, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were impressed before even arriving in our room when, on arriving quite early, were offered a complimentary pot of tea in the lobby while we waited for our room. The room itself was comfortable and very quiet, close to the... More

Liking it now. Here for 3 days and just had tea and scones in the lobby. Room is a bit dark and Europeans (at least the Irish on this trip) have nothing more than a 25 watt bulb? God awful hard to read. Buswells is no exception!! Nice and VERY attentive staff. Lovely folks at the desk and Aidan was... More

This was my first visit to Dublin and was quite pleased with the Buswells. I arrived very early after an all night flight. My room was ready and my bags were taken to my room. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and self serve. The bar was busy but very efficient. Food was very... More

We spent a week and a half here and enjoyed out stay very much. There is no doubt that we'd return. Small but very pleasant rooms, great bar and bar food, and outstanding service. Extremely well located for government buildings, libraries, schools and shopping. It's all about location, location, location - and they have it. Much of what you'd want... More

Hi EAH50, Thank you for your lovely comments, it is a delight to read that you had such a pleasant & enjoyable stay with us. We have currently refurbished a large percentage of our bedrooms and whilst doing so we have added a shower door rather than a curtain. We look to complete this work as part of our continual... This hotel should be considered if visiting Dublin. Located very much in the centre of the city, it is well placed for all that Dublin offers, The double bedrooms are somewhat small and using the bathroom/toilet offers interesting experiences in sharing. Ours looked on to a painted wall but was entirely adequate. The food was excellant and the full 'Irish... More
