This classy 4 star hotel is about 15 minutes from the center of Dublin, not far from the estuary and set in a pleasant residential area There's a little of the castle left in the common area of the hotel and that is tastefully integrated with the modern building. The lobby area is very pretty and a good place to...

From start to finish our afternoon tea experience was perfect! Firstly John the manager was most welcoming, he then handed us over to our lovely server Michelle who could not have done more to make sure we were happy. The variety of food was fabulous and the desert in particular was delicious. If afternoon tea is your thing then I...

Stayed for a week over the rugby, birthdays and St Patrick. Our first night we enjoyed supper in their Knights Bar but otherwise we ate out in the evenings. Our bedroom on the 4th floor was well insulated from the weddings (three in one week!) and very comfortable - excellent double bed. Staff were delightful and were pleased to see...

Loved the hotel and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. While the location is beautiful, it is a little out of the way. There is public transportation but it is a hike to get to the bus stop.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our week-long vacation of Ireland. The rooms are fantastic and the hotel itself is very cool. The area around the hotel is very quiet and primarily residential, but restaurants and pubs are a short drive or taxi ride away. Parking is plentiful and free. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for only 1 night-but wished that I could have stayed longer. My room was lovely and roomy- loved the bathroom too (waterfall shower!!). Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Ate at the bar and the food was so good. Lots of locals coming into the bar, so it felt very homey.

Just come back from a trip to Dublin in Ireland and stayed in Clontarf Castle. All I can say about it was good, the staff are SO friendly, kind and helpful and reflect the Irish people I met in general. We had an excellent overnight stay at Clontarf Castle, the building is beautifully converted into a hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant excellent. The location is wonderful for reaching the city centre and the local beach. Excellent all round venue.
