I stayed in Stauntons for one night in a cosy room which was very quiet with a beautiful bathroom. Unfortunately the breakfast experience ruined my stay. When we arrived for breakfast we waited to be seated and were advised to stand by a table which...More

They have a rate that includes breakfast, but you can pay a lower room rate and then pay the extra for any breakfast that you take. I think that the charge was 15 Euro. Breakfast was served in small lower rooms, which probably once were used by servants in the property's heyday. Breakfast included crepes, eggs and meats, lots of fruit, etc. It was tasty and convenient. I really liked the location. Be sure to spend at least an hour across the street walking in St. Stephens Green, go to the Little Dublin Museum across the park and check out Iveagh Gardens behind the hotel. Enjoy.
