This hostel makes a great effort to unite its occupants through community building. We went to the wine and cheese night, which was great. We had a ton of food and drinks for free and got to meet a bunch of the other travelers. The breakfast was misrepresented to us, which was a bit of a disappointment when we actually...

The room was big and clean. There was a well equipped kitchen to cook your own meals. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was easy but absolutly sufficient. Great location. If you are a light sleeper this is nothing for you. It was very noisy outside but all five of us (aged 5 to 43) slept very well.

We were in a 6 bed dorm in the Sky Backpackers hostel. We found it easily and the location of it is definitely one of the best things about the place, right by the Liffey, near the Ha’penny bridge and a very short walk across to Temple Bar and other attractions. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any...

Stayed here for 3 nights with 2 other friends and we absolutely loved it! The front desk staff are very nice and helpful; they recommended places to eat, where to go and we're always happy to give us directions. We stayed in a 4 ensure mixed bedroom and it was very very clean. The best thing about the hostel is...

I stayed here last week in a mixed dorm and I was a bit worried about it - well, I'm 58 and haven't done that before. It was good. Others in the dorm were polite and very quiet when they came in. The pillow was much better than last year's. I spent the evening chatting to others and enjoyed it....

Very disappointed with our stay. We always stay in this hostel when coming to Dublin and it's always been great. Usually costs up €20 a person a night. This time I booked over the phone and wasn't told the price. I assumed it would be business as usual as it was only a few weeks since I was there last....

Sky backpackers does many of the things I look for in a hostel very well but there were some serious flaws that made it very difficult for me to enjoy my stay. Due to these issue I can not recommend Sky backpackers. There are so many things this hostel does right. It's centrally located, near all the sights, shopping restaurants,...

This is my fourth night here. I should have left the first night. The room has not been cleaned in that time. Trash is piled up. I have had to get my key card reset 5 times because the electronic locks are bad. The location is terrible because there is a bar across the street that has horrible live music...

Stayed for three nights in a 6 bed mixed with ensuite room. The location is great, rooms are pretty new but beds are very squeeky, and there are no lockers. Staff were very helpful. Facilities that they have are fantastic, kitchen, laundry, lounges etc.

Very clean, intimate, nice common rooms. I particularly liked the kitchen! People working there are so nice! They help you with anything you need. It is close to everything and you can walk to Dublin's main points of interests. Quite expensive for a hostel though. But I still think it's worth it.
