The hotel is situated in one of Dublins most vibrant and noisy nightlife areas, which is very much evident when in the hotel due to the poor sound proofing and single glazed Victorian sash window. This wouldn't have been a problem if I was out on the town socialing into the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately this wasn't the...

Possibly went to Dublin at the wrong time. Arrived on St Patricks Day. Booked a twin room for two nights and was charged 518 Euro's. Totally extortionate and disproportionate for what we got. Room was small and dark. TV was the smallest i have seen for a while. Room and bathroom needed some attention and redecoration. Also breakfast not included...

Receptionist apparently incapable of raising a smile, but the room was large and comfortable. Absence of a ceiling light made it rather gloomy, and the shower was feeble. Was woken at 3am by screaming from a party in the hotel somewhere, which made me feel quite ill. Not clear that my breakfast was included, and the coffee was like dishwater.

Let me start with the good points - the staff - exceptionally friendly and trying to do their very best. The library bar - have been here many times as a non-guest - always a good spot for a quiet drink. This was my first time to stay in this hotel and our room was ok - not luxury but...

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely lady at reception, who was very polite, warm and friendly. I enjoyed the sweets on the desk which we could help ourselves to. We had a triple room for 3 ladies. Enough floor space and wardrobe space for us. Beds were comfy. Decent size bathroom and the shower was good. Hairdryer, not...

A visit to Dublin on St Patrick's night and to watch the Ireland v England rugby - yes, a clear time when prices might increase a little. But, a room, a twin room, for €500+? No breakfast included, poor lighting, the smallest of TVs (and a poor quality image at that), no replacement milks for hot drinks, old tatty packs...

Very nice stay, clean rooms, centrally located can be a bit noisy from street. Historical building adds charm and the breakfast was quick and easy. Staff are very accomodating. Was able to walk everywhere. Just around corner from Temple Bar area, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Mollie Malone and the Liffie.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions when staying in Dublin City centre. Hotel is located so central to everything including Temple Bar, Trinity College & Grafton Street. Henry Street is about a 6 minute walk. The Dublin City tour bus stop is only a 2 minute walk away on Dane Street. You will be spoilt for choice for places...

I was here again last weekend with my husband on Saturday night. This is a fabulous cosy friendly hotel that is as per its title, so very central. I have stayed here many times with my husband and daughter when we did our christmas shopping trips in town. I went back with John last Sunday as we were doing house...
