It is an old fashioned style, the room we had was underground, felt sad and noisy ... the bathroom was old and give you a feeling of not well maintained... The staff was very friendly though, really helpful. For the few days we remained it was ok but I cannot say it was worth the money we paid..

The hotel is located in a very charming old building. For the good and for the bad. Despite the charming atmosphere, my room was under the reception floor, and the sound of steps on the wooden floor was quite irritating since early morning. If possible, try to book an upper room to avoid this problem.

Disappointing. I booked and paid €288 for 2 nights then when I arrived and parked in the small car park was asked to park in a street around the corner as they'd "allocated the space to someone else' who'd yet to check in and they'd emailed me to that effect just before I'd checked in. Interior has seen better days...

Interior was shabby, elevator was out of service. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a comfortable bed. Location was ~ 15 min walk from Temple Bar. Was expecting more for the price we paid.

We booked a triple room which was ideal. The lodge is located to the south of the city but within walking distance along Baggot Street. There are many nice eateries nearby which cater for all types of healthy and good food options. The three of us had a fantastic weekend meeting up with other friends. Definitely recommend this B andB...

This place is not your typical b&b as there is no local host offering hospitality. It is efficiently run by a team of young friendly women from Eastern Europe and is clean, has a good breakfast and was a good value. It was on a nice street in a nice neighborhood with good restaurants, but we ended up taking taxis...

Stayed one night here back in December, when I was struggling to find a hotel at a decent price for a work night out. I was definitely not disappointed. Arrived early that afternoon and the girl at reception was extremely pleasant, very helpful with information regarding facilities and the local area. I had asked for a quiet room, a request...

Staying just one night with a business colleague, found Waterloo Lodge to be comfortable and good value - and ten minutes walk from the AirCoach which saved us a hefty taxi fare! Initially put off by steep and uneven steps up to the front door and then by their lift being out of order but friendly receptionist quickly settled us...

+: Very clean, location between UCD and city centre in a very nice neighbourhood of Dublin, friendly staff, bus stop outside of the hotel -: Rooms are somehow small but the bed is good, building looks old inside (well for some other people this could be a plus!), rooms are a little noisy In my opinion if you see it...

We made the error of thinking we were booked into the Waterloo House. Be aware these are two different businesses located within meters of each other. The hotel and room are very dated and worn. The rooms were in need of updates at least 10 years ago. The room was clean but the drab, worn appearance distracted from the cleanliness....
