My wife and I booked into the hotel on Saturday 4th February for a week. We paid in full on arrival. On Wednesday morning we were woken by hammering at 7.30 a.m. which went on and on. When we went down to breakfast were told it shouldn’t have happened as the builders conducting the refurbishment were not due to start...

You can tell that this hotel is a bit old and outdated but honestly it still is fantastic. It's a classic hotel and the staff are lovely. Our room was a generous size and the bed was absolutely huge. The room had a kettle, selection of coffee/tea and 2 biscuits. There was a safe, ironing board and iron. The wardrobe...

The Alexander hotel is currently being refurbished but they haven't taken any guests into consideration. The construction starts at 7am in the morning until 7pm Monday to Saturday and can be heard throughout the hotel. The staff at the front desk are trying their best but it's clear that Managment are uncaring and greedy, any sensible Managment would have shut...

Good choice for a business stay, or potentially for sightseeing or weekend escape. Spacious rooms with big, comfortable bed in a double room. The decor could do with a bit of refurbishment but still ok. Friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast offer.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The bed was huge and the location was great, not too close to the temple bar area but easy walking distance to most of the attractions. There were some minor maintenance issues but the hotel is currently refurbishing it's rooms so these will improve, would stay hear again

A well-maintained old-hotel. Rooms relatively small but equipped with modern amenities. Nice breakfast and bar. Gym is mediocre at most. Limited choice of gear. I chose the hotel because Expedia said it had a gym... Location is good - two blocks from train station. Bus stop right by the hotel. Walking distance to shopping and entertainment. 30-45 minutes from airpot...

Staff really kind!!! The room was really good and big. The bed so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. If I need to find something to change maybe I will propose a bathroom restyling and to adjust the wifi because there was some problem with the wifi in the room sometime, just minor issues anyway.
