Lovely and quiet hotel close to buses and city center (20-minute walk). Very helpful staff. Good breakfast (cereal, sausage, eggs, fruit, juice) for 8 euros which is not included in the price but that seems to be typical of Ireland. Typical small bathroom but that’s expected in Europe. Would stay there again and definitely recommend to others.

Stayed here for 3 nights 15th-18th Feb. We had a spacious twin room with en-suite shower room. The price for this bed and breakfast was excellent for its location: 10 mins on bus from city centre and 5 mins walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The room was very clean and warm and was serviced every day. The decor was...

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The room and bathroom was plenty big enough and very clean...I found the shower hard to use and ended up soaking the whole room with it, but may have just been me! Other than that all good :)

This B&B could use a update, but the helpful staff was wonderful! A bus can take you into the city and there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and sights within walking distance. It's a reasonably priced place with a helpful staff and you get what you pay for.

Had the family room for 7 people and I could not fault the service provided for this B&B, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful in everything they did for us. From booking taxi's, recommending local amenities or knowledge of the public transport system. I was impressed with their attitude and eagerness...

Myself and my husband stayed here in January as part of a present from our daughter. It was very central to Glasnevin cemetary which we were visiting. On the plus side it looks lovely from the outside as it is a lovely old character building on a lovely street. The hotel was comfortable and warm with a lovely sitting room...

Thank you for your inputs and positive comments. However, I t is unfair to say that it costs 2 Euro for a cup of boiling water. The expensive and varied tea bags are there to be used with the boiling water. The boiling water for 2€ allows you to have a choice of the following expensive teas: Twinings green tea...

Great place to stay. Good value with everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was good. Only slight hitch was that we could hear the extractor fan in a nearby room, but not too much of an issue! The city centre is easily reachable with a 5-10 minute bus ride and there are...

We stayed at Egans for four nights including New Year's eve. We found all the staff and the Manager to be very friendly and willing to help. They knew all relevant details about public transport in the city. We chose the hotel because we wanted to be conveniently located for the city but wanted to avoid the inevitable noise at...
