This is a lovely building in a great location. However when you first walk in there is no welcoming atmosphere. All the décor is tired and dated. The bedroom was very large with a huge comfy bed but again let down by the décor. Large crack in bath panel, large crack down bathroom wall, toilet roll holder missing, stained carpet...

Getting accommodation in Dublin was proving to be very difficult. I had arrived a week earlier in Sept 2016, for the academic term and Trinity College and had already spent a week looking for accommodation, but to no avail. My booking at my previous place had expired and I had to shift to another place. None of the other B&B's...

This hotel is situated right in the center of Dublin, 2 minutes from the main shopping area, 10 minute walk to the Temple Bar Square, 20 minute walk to the Guiness factory and in amongst all the restaurants and pubs. The staff on reception were very helpful and the room had everything we needed. All amenities worked well and bedroom/bathroom...

I've stayed in this hotel twice- in 2013 and in 2015. There's no reason to stay anywhere else, as it's well located and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a new and shiny luxury hotel, this isn't it. It could use some refurbishing, but it's perfectly suitable and the convenience of its location is a big plus that makes it...

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Dublin and the rooms were a good size and the the stag were extremely helpful. However the first room we were given wasn't great. The beds didn't join together and the sheet the covered the bed base was filthy. The curtain rail looked like it was clinging on to the wall...

I booked this before reading the reviews and I am so glad I did because the place is great right in the centre by Stephens Green Grafton Street etc. I was dreading it after reading the bad reviews but I have to say the place is great. - reception staff so nice and friendly. The room I booked was a...

Stayed here over the weekend and was not one bit impressed. Had asked for a quiet room which I did not get! Hotel is attached to a bar so music was blaring until about 1am. Rooms were basic and very stuffy. Left behind belongings in the room by accident which staff claimed not to be able to find. Overall quite...

Stayed here for a short city break. Ideally located, everything was within walking distance or near a bus stop. Conveniently located near lots of shops, restaurants etc so if breakfast doesn't appeal, there are plenty of other options. The decor could be seen as outdated or quaint, but we had a hairdryer, TV, sockets that needed no adaptor and plenty...

Not the worst hotel in the world but definatly not the best! The room we had was spacious, warm, well lit and clean. Noise levels were a little bit high but no where near as bad as other reviews make out. The hotel is rough around the edges and in need of a major face lift. I would stay here again....

DO NOT STAY HERE! This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, filthy, dust everywhere dirty Windows that haven't been cleaned for years. We were put in a smoking room and as non smokers the smell was disgusting when we realised there was a non smoking floor we asked to move and although it didn't smell...
