The hotel is located directly across from the Mansion House on Dawson St, the residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin. It's situated beside Sam's bar, which it seems to be affiliated with, and a few doors down from Cafe en Seine. It's a very good location for a night out in Dublin. When we arrived, we were not aware...

I visited Dublin for a conference in May. Together with a colleague I decided to put some pleasure into the stay, and searched for a SPA hotel. We ended up with Dawson Hotel and Spa. Already at the check-in we were informed that this "spa-hotel" did not have any pools or saunas. And the receptionist did not have any information...

The location is absolutely fantastic - very central, near St Stephen's Green. The rooms are comfortable and have more character than your standard hotel room. The breakfast is hearty. The only down side is the need to climb so many stairs to the top floor!

Finding a decent hotel in Dublin turned out quite a challenge! Cancelled my first choice due to terrible reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to spend a little more money to have a pleasant stay. I travel for work and I tend to book hotels where I can work from the room meanwhile I wait for my meetings. The check-in at...

I stayed in this hotel for one night on a business trip but will definitely be wanting to stay here again if I come to Dublin again. The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre and for the price, you can't go wrong! The staff are so obliging and friendly. Lucija checked me in and even showed me to...

The room was nice and spacious with a fairly large bath. the beds were comfortable. The other basic facilities are all there, and the wifi is good. Didn't use the spa so can't comment on that. The main reason we chose this hotel was its location - a stones trow from TCD, all the pubs temple bar area, St. Stephen's...

Never heard of a vibrant room before but this was not as bad as it might sounds. Due to the bat downstairs the room got a bit of noise, which can be annoying for anyone with a light sleep, as a heavy sleeper this did not disturb me. Good side of it: the voucher for a free cocktail, the bar...

Stayed here with friends. Location can't be beat. Walking distance to everything. Room had plenty of space and hotel offers all the usual amenities plus more. The staff is what really make it the best. Friendly, helpful, pro-active in all ways. Remember your power adapter. (or the front desk has them)

Although staff were very good and location was good, found the hotel decor to look very tired. I am aware it's a city centre hotel and it was bank holiday weekend i found our one night stay for £273 excessive bearing in mind the condition of the room (308). Drawer fronts loose , 1 of the ceiling lights needed a...

I'm trying my best to be objective as I'm aware, one persons review should always be taken with a pinch of salt. We stayed in the suites at the front of the hotel. (The plural is intentional.) There are several flights of stairs to access all areas of the hotel, so those with mobility problems should avoid. There is a...
