This trip was a while ago now, but staying at Avoca B&B left a lasting impression and I wanted to comment. Dublin was the first stop in Ireland for myself and 2 friends, and we found this place the most hospitable, cosiest, friendliest spot on our whole 2 week Irish round-trip. The accommodation was also comfortable and spacious enough, even...

The place is quaint, clean and very friendly. Great service, fantastic warm breakfast and lovely company. Audrey and Jack are amazing!! It is midway from airport and downtown. Compared to North American standard, rooms and bathrooms are smaller

Audrey and Jack were fabulous hosts who obviously love running a B&B! We had several great chats with them, and they were very helpful with restaurant suggestions, figuring out the buses or arranging a taxi for us. The rooms were small, but clean. They are located in a residential neighborhood, so it is nice and quiet, but it is a...

Upon my arrival, and I was a little early, I was greeted by Jack. He invited me in, offered me a cup of tea (wonderful after having spent the past 6 hours in an airplane) and had a wonderful chat. The room was very clean and cozy and exactly what I needed after having been in travel-mode for the past...

A lovely stay in a residential neighborhood convenient to the airport and the city centre.Right on several bus lines including the 16 from the airport for a cheap and easy ride. Our room was small but comfortable and functional and the price was a good value. Jack and Audrey were perfect hosts who went out of their way to make...

Sorry for the late review! We stayed at Avoca house for 4 days in July 2012. This quaint b&b was a true highlight in mine and my husband's adventure across Europe for our honeymoon. Jack and Audrey were amazing hosts! Communication with Jack during issues with our travels and setting up our reservation was a lot easier than I could've...

The owners and proprietors of this lovely corner of the street B & B sealed the deal and ensured that we would return to Ireland many times. We managed to find it at the last minute and we couldn't have been happier. Everything from the lovingly served breakfasts (which are to die for!) to the help with finding things to...

We stayed here in March 2012 for three nights, so sorry for the late posting of this review! Jack and Audrey are very friendly and warm hosts. The room was clean and well decorated and very comfortable. It was on the small size, with a macerator loo which was a bit of a draw back- but for the price you...

Me and my 2 friends stayed for 3 nights. Jack and Audrey are amazing and great hosts! They both made sure our stay was enjoyable. And their recommendations for the sites were great. Their dog, Mandy, was well behaved and sweet. I highly recommend this place if you like a nice quaint place to stay at while in Dublin. :)
