We stayed in Dublin before and had bad experiances with hotels and hostels- but this wasn't one of them. This hotel is clean and cosy, has everything you need for a trip to the city. It is near temple bar, too. The staff was really friendly, polite and helpfull, even at 3 a.m. Would and will book again.

Previous reviews said it was noisy, I agree the windows could do with secondary glazing as ours definitely had gaps, however we found the road does quieten down in the early hours. The room itself was small, but for somewhere to just lay your head after an evening checking out temple bar area then you can't fault it. It was... More

Clean sheets, wake up call on time, not too bad a walk up the stairs, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, lots of action close at hand and not noisy at night, providing a great sleep.

Close walking distance to main areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean enough but was a little dated and rough around the edges. Also the walls were pretty thin, as we could hear the person next door snoozing. Our room was facing the street which added to the noise. But for a cheap place to stay it... More

We stayed at this B&B/guest house/hotel/hostel/hovel with 4 other couples – as our friends were running the Dublin Marathon on the Sunday @ €168 per night, it wasn’t cheap. When we arrived, we were given the attic room, that consisted of 2 single beds (we had booked a double) in a dingy hovel 6 flight of stairs up. I complained... More

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. 160 euro / night for a hotel that tried to put us in a room that had not been cleaned, had filthy beds and at 10 o clock at night felt it reasonable to ask us to make our own bed with fresh sheets...This was the second room they placed us... More

Dirty rooms - we went with 5 couples all rooms except one were too awful to stay in. We got put in a basement room with rubbish bags in front of the window. The shower fell off the wall. We complained and got moved into a room with no windows except for a skylight - it smelt like a mouldy... More

This is a really terrible guest house! Two guests room had dirty sheets when they checked in. It is a health and safety hazard with bare wires and dirty rooms. It is on a busy street which is a problem as none of the windows close. Some rooms are smelly, and, although this is advertised as a B & B,... More

My lodging experience was more pleasant than prior reviews would have indicated. The help upon check in was wonderful. The room for me as a solo traveler was a little small but fine for me and it was clean. I would definitely stay there again as it is within short walking distance to pubs, restaurants and O'Connell Street.

It was a sad experience. We were given a tiny room n the topmost floor -- the attic. There were 67 steps to climb up. No elevators, no porters. No phone connected to the reception. The showers didn;t work properly. the room itself was -- oh, my God! -- no place to put down your luggage, no cupboard, barely any... More
